Taking a peek inside the minds of....

Hey Guys,

I just wanted to bother you all for a moment. You see I have been thinking about my personal blog lately and I have always contemplated on posting stuff about decks and what not but as I searched online I saw that there are already TONS of those types of blogs. So I sat and stared at my header image for hours at a time trying to figure out how to go about it. As I was chanting "Behind Krystle Lane, Take a peek in my mind" over and over and thinking, it finally hit me that I wanted to write about the new and upcoming deck designers who are popping up left and right these days. I don't want to just post photos of their work/designs/decks of cards/what-nots and write about what I think of 'em or review them, criticize them. NOPE. I want to take a peek inside the minds of the genius people who made them. (make sense?)

Because I think, more often than not, a person's design is a reflection of one's self/mind.
We have been seeing a lot of decks out there from designers from all walks of life and I for sure would like to know why they drew what they drew. Saw what they saw and all those other words for dramatic effect that I'm just going to skip to spare you all off the cheesiness of this post. Hahahhaah!!

But you guys get my drift right?

So what do you think? Any inputs?

oh and if there is already a site/blog that is similar to what I had in mind. Then oh well. I'm still going to do it anyway.   Its worth a shot. =^-^=

If you are talking about essentially interviewing people that design cards to learn more about them and their motivations, then I think that is a great idea and would be an interesting perspective. I'd be happy to participate should anyone want to learn more about little old me.

To those awesome designers who responded here and on facebook and email I will be sending out the first batch of questionnaires for you. And in the meantime I am still fixing the blog posts and whatever. Its so hard to get anything done here in China. But thank goodness the VPN is kinda working properly. even well enough for me to watch some youtube videos. So yeah. Thanks you guys!
