The white one will have metallic inks, I wonder what it will be called.

The white ones aren't bad looking, while I think the green and red ones are plain ugly. At least that's from what I can see (just the backs).

there are only 81 in the handbook..  #82 is the really rare one

Well, it sure looks like it from here.  Look closer and you might see it, too...

I like these decks, but Meir Yedid isn't always known for reasonable prices.  I still remember their crazy markup on the Wounded Warrior deck.

Don't you hate when someone goes and prints a deck and makes you branch out in a different direction in your collection! I really like the leaf backs. Which means I'm going to have to try to pick up the other vintage designs that were recently released. Oh well...in for a dime...in for a dollar! I could have the same problem as others and have to have every deck that has bicycle stamped on it! I love this hobby!

Actually, since Meir's Wounded Warrior 3-pack shipped for free in the US, it wasn't really a bad deal. Most sell the deck for $4.95 + shipping anyway, so I won't knock him too hard. (Though I did buy mine from Bicycle when they had their 10% off sale.)

As for these decks, I like them, but they aren't anything super. I'm sure I'll pick some up and I really appreciate the green deck. We have a lot of blue and red, and in recent years black and white decks are common, so anything that varies from those colors is a welcome change.

And what would stop you from just getting the Leaf Backs and calling it a day?  You should be in control of your hobby, not the other way around!

I think even with that, I managed to get them for much less - I probably got them from Fullboatdealer or BMPokerWorld and got their discount.

I do dig what you're saying about color variety.  It's nice, finding decks in the classic green and brown that used to be much more common than it is now.
