NEW DECK - Mythos: Cthulhu Calls by 4PM DESIGNS

UPDATE:
Due to the recent launch of a separate Cthulhu Deck this week, we have decided to push back our release of Mythos: Cthulhu Calls. Even though we had mentioned to people we were aiming for a late september kickstarter launch, we have now decided against it. We feel it would not be fair to release two similar themed decks so close to each other. HOWEVER! Mythos: Cthulhu Calls was intended to be the 1st in a series of 3 "Mythos" decks inspired by Lovecraft Mythology. A series we would hopefully launch as time passes. The GOOD NEWS is we will still be releasing a deck in the same timespan. Now, the deck intended to be the 2nd in the series will now be the first, with Cthulhu Calls coming out later. So we are currently reworking the designs and elements which were appealing to Cthulhu Calls into this deck. Since we are in the development stage, this would be good time for suggestions on what you think worked and didn't work with Cthulhu Calls. More details of the deck will be released soon. For now, here are two teasers of how we're implementing the Cthulhu elements into this deck.

The pips of this new deck look really cool! The King of Hearts reminds me of the TV show Grimm. I'm looking forward to this deck!

I'm liking the designs.  I suggest you make the index easily readable - make the black pips stand out from the background.  An index is meant to be read quickly and easily, leaving nothing to chance and not requiring guesswork.  That index is very attractive, but that pip nearly hides in the background.  There's a number of ways to remedy that - make black pips white, give them a white outline, place a pattern behind them to make them stand out more (perhaps a small, white starburst), etc.

IMHO: if you darken the black while still having that glow, that would look awesome.  I'm a fan of darker shades on cards in general.  The crimson/blood-red on casino decks to me are excellent.  (Easier on the eyes, too!)
