Genesis v1 by Andrei Jikh would be my suggestion...tons of great material, and a lot of it is designed for people who are just starting out in cardistry. It's a great buy for the money and would keep you busy for months- literally. It's available at theory11's site, if you want to take a look.

Obviously you need to learn things like thumb fans, springs, dribbles, giant fans, faroing and some other things first, and that's all YouTube.

Then Genesis v1 is the best route to go, at least it was for me. Even though some of the moves were pretty complex for a beginner, it does a lot of things like introduce you to the concept of a lot of flourishes.

Dan & Dave also have an astounding library of beginner moves on their site for free: http://www.dananddave.com/learn/media/

Ironically there are 2 free tutorials right beneath your topic.
You don't need to spend any money to learn cardistry, just sayin'

Hey, chisairi, you might find this helpful:

For me the path so far has been learning the basics from youtube as mentionned in my first post, followed by Genesis v1 and Papercuts.

There's a few free videos at the Blue Crown and HOPC, as well as some on Theory11's The Wire.  Start with some free stuff, see where you want to go with it.  Doesn't cost anything but time!

Be choosy about YouTube videos - get stuff that's recommended by some of the more experienced cardists around here, or even performed by them.  A healthy chunk of what's on YouTube is dubious at best or poor quality.
