The other thread was starting to get long so I figured I'd post a fresh one now that the project has officially launched.

I'm planning to hold some drawings for cool prizes like signed art prints - all fans of the facebook page will be automatically entered in the drawings. Also, be sure to share the link on your own wall or the walls of friends to help spread the word and get enough backers to make this deck possible. I may hold separate drawings with better prizes specifically for people who have shared photos or links.

The most recent public update from January 15th states that the decks are shipping soon.  The primary shipment of the decks was due to arrive the next day.

The most recent backers-only update (which I can't read because I wasn't a backer) is dated January 31st and is titled "Vända backer party! (San Francisco and Los Angeles)".

If I was a betting man, I'd say that he's getting stuff out the door, but that he's also contending with a lot of the extra bits and bobs that people pledges for, like the wooden boxes and such.  Assembly, packaging, shipping - all that can take a good while for deck projects that offered bonus tchotchkes and doodads, and sending the decks first, bonus stuff second is not cost-effective except in cases where they have to go separately, like someone getting a wooden box and an uncut in addition to decks.

The large orders went out first and took some time to properly package and get shipped. This week I'm putting together most of the single and double deck packages and they will be in the mail tomorrow. I'm planning to post an update on KS in the next couple days, but lately I've just been so swamped with zillions of tasks that I've fallen behind on responses...also on my to-do list.
