Does anyone know when the pre ordering ends?

Also, does anyone know who dealing with everything at Mana cards at the moment, I've sent them a number of emails over the weekend but havn't received any responses, Erik is normally very quick with customer service so I was thinking maybe they've got someone new in to help out, anyone had any contact with anyone other than Erik?

My quote for shipping is in : 73 USD for 12 decks to germany!  :o :o :o
They say only EMS is aviable for germany.
I went to the PHiLLi Postoffice website and checked the prices
http://www.philpost.gov.ph/web/
They are overcharging me at least 17USD for shipping and in worst case even 30USD to much.

Paying such a high postage is even more then the weekly paycheck of the postmen in Manila. >:(
Currently waiting for those decks being released :
- Seasons [Primavera / Seronda]  / Aether [Vortex] / Bicycle [Actuators] / Mana [Oracle] / The Blue Crown - [Altruism] / Encarded [Tendril]

It's called "handling fee" :mindf-ck: :mindf-ck: :mindf-ck:
I agree charging reasonable handling fees is necessary for those companies, but I also think it should be a fixed amount for however decks we buy, instead of a fixed rate that increases the fee proportionally to the number of decks. In fact, the more decks we buy, the more discount they should provide.

In order for them to do that, digi, they'd have to overcharge for shipping low numbers of decks; it costs more to sip heavier things, so the price increases along with the number of decks; it HAS to.  The shipping does seem to be inflated in this case, though.

Honestly, I thought these looked cool when they were first revealed but I've tota;;y gone off them; it's really just a re-colour, after all.  Doubt I'm getting any.

I shipped 12 decks from Thailand to USA via EMS before.
I put them in a small now and that costed 53$.

But 73$ is unbelievable.

This is why I complained about the shipping fee of Mana decks.

The weight of a deck is about 90-100g, so:
1 brick package = 1.5-2.0Kg
2 brick package = 2.5-3.0Kg

I got my shipping email but no option, only one choice. I ordered 4 decks and the shipping to Canada is $28. Total for 4 decks with shipping $65.50.

WHAT! Mana really overpriced their shipping. Shipping 2 bricks to me was $80 for 2-3 days and $60 for 2-3 weeks.

@Phantom1412, I agree.
@xlacs, $28 is reasonable because in my chart it still takes $23.5 from Taiwan.

$80 is too crazy...
If you gave me $80 for shipping, I could send 6 bricks to you via EMS. haha :t11: :t11:
Even a normal priority parcel takes only 6-10 days to US... and for 2 bricks it's about $35.

I don't know... :mindf-ck: :mindf-ck: :mindf-ck:
But Australia is in Oceania, I can send a 2Kg package to you via EMS and it needs only $23...

Actually I am lazy to post the "Bulk EMS Discount" :karrit:

When a person sends many packages once, there are further discount for him: $333+ is 5%, $666+ is 10%, $2000+ is 15%, $3,333+ is 20%, and $5,000+ is 25%. Well, I know every country has different EMS pricing, it's meaningless to post this.

no matter how you added it they are overpricing there shipping. Not even the big companies charge as much as they do for regular shipping. they quoted me 28 for 4 deck estimate time 2 to 3 weeks (not days weeks). k im done complaining time to move on and wait for the tendril and seasons deck.

Edit:Another explanation why they could be charging so much for shipping is. I think they hired a company to ship out the decks. Because i ask them a eta for shipping and they told me "We will notify everyone of target shipping date once stock is cleared with Cutting Edge warehouse"

I agree with you too. When we started complaining my dear Skulkor brothers' shipping fees, they then said they asked their carrier to lower the price. So I agree with you that most card companies including D&D might hire such carriers to deal with the shipping work. Another example is the Clot and Zenneth's B&W New Fan Back, they are both in Hong Kong, the former charged high shipping fee while the latter didn't. And I remember when people asked Zenneth why he could not check his delivery status on the website, Zenneth said he just went to the postal office and sent out the packages. I guess that's why the shipping fee of B&W New Fan Back was very acceptable to buyers -- he packaged the decks, brought them to the postal office, lined up and filled the dispatch notes by himself.

xlacs, if it takes 2-3 weeks, then I have to say it's unreasonable... :mindf-ck: :mindf-ck: :mindf-ck:
