These cards sure do look nice! I'm with MagikFingerz about the back design. The back design is nice but I don't see how it goes with the luxury theme. The face look awesome. The box looks great but that red stripe looks identical to the one on the Verve deck. The border thickness is PERFECT but has USPCC seen it? They're not a fan of borders that thin. Overall, I like it and I think it will be successful.

Do you have a facebook page for the company?

I love the box and the card backs, great work!!!

I agree with Evan. I emmediately thought of the Verve deck when I saw the box. Had to check to make sure there wasn't an association.  I think you are going to get a lot of flack for the Verve-like racing stripe and emblem even though they are not identicle. Especially since the Verve deck just came out.

The Aces look really nice, but the A and pips look a little small, especially for playing cards. Although from an overall visual perspective they look really good.

The moment I saw them I thought Verve launched a kickstarter for a rerelease or something. They're nice but a little too brave considering the Verve is still a well known and new deck. Sweet faces but Not a fan of the backs at all. Actually reminds me of that spider kingdoms deck that was on kickstarter briefly.

Remember, the company that was making "Spider Kingdoms" was sold because their design was so amazing that some company thought it would be a good investment to buy a card company that never actually produced a deck, so the project was stopped for that sale.
Since now they belong to a larger company I am sure we will see the "Spider kingdom" decks again.

Maybe Elite is the company that bought the "Spider Kingdom" people

Oh, excuse me ... Is my sarcasm showing?

Hi guys,

First of all thank you for your support!

During this 30 day period we will be listening to YOU guys and improve our product based in your suggestions. After all, you are supporting this project, and we are making it for you.

Regarding the comparison with the Verve deck, believe it or not we were not aware of those cards. I was a month in vacation, pretty much unplugged, and I confess I missed some great decks. I also checked with our designer and he didn't knew it either. I must say that comparing it with the Verve is a compliment, as that deck looks absolutely gorgeous!

We have a commitment with you, so please feel free to get in touch at any time you want! We would love to hear back from you!

PS: Utterfool: we are a new brand of playing cards, however, we also own another brand in the magic tricks industry and we have been around for almost 10 years. We are not associated with any previous card brands.

Thanks!

Nice job. The box really looks "Vervian" but the design of the cards is very interesting. I'm looking forward to see the first images of the deck to see how the shades on the cards will come out.

Sorry
That was really a commentary on the fly by night company that was making the "Spider Kingdom" deck.
I didn't mean anybody to really believe you were associated with them.

I am really quite fond of your deck and have backed it.

I would love to see you add some of the things available in the pledge levels as options

Like the card case
Right now I don't see the uncut sheet and card case available in any of the lower pledge levels together.

Having it as an add on would be better than creating a new pledge level

Is there a photo showing a close up of the court cards? Can't really make it out well from the kick starter photo, just looks like standard with a filled in background.

Hi LauR,

Sure. I'm attaching to this message a close-up picture of some of the cards to give you an idea of all the intricate details.

Thanks!

I like the court cards and faces however it could have been better by customising it further

With so many Decks coming out on KS its great to hear your project is getting funded and whilst not getting the stretch goals the decks are still going to get metallic inks which is awesome!

I guess the Cthulhu Playing Cards project has sucked most of the backers monies to prevent them on pledging other KS project such as yours! lol

And any money that didn't go to the Cthulhu deck is being diverted to the Misc. Goods deck
