With Little Fanfare for once
Dan & Dave have released another variety box
Another chance at Game of death for those who missed the last 3 or don't want the stripper.
Split spades I guess are ok
and an octopus deck
The Ebay prices for these decks add up to more than the asking price....

I just feel like I have seen this box before

I guess that is why it is an encore

Oh yeah a link

Man they really need to release a v1-esque box again. I still have all my v1 decks and I love them.

Or a vintage box like they gave away in their context. Whoever won that won is the luckiest dude in collecting. There were decks in there that I would kill for. (I have a hard on for vintage Vegas casino decks)

I have news for you, Alex - as much as stated that I'd never buy another D&D deck, this was a tempting offer even to me.  It's no VBv1, and it's certainly not a VB Vintage, but it's one of the better VBs they've offered in a while.

If only the replacer te Clip Joint with a Tungstene..... Now THAT I would buy.

Also, with a Midnight Fuel, Game of Death, and an IAOCP, I feel you could sell those alone for around $120.

That is probably why they threw in the Stud and Aladdin you can get both of those for $5 total max.

The only decks I need from this are The octopus deck and the Bee deck. Definitely not worth the price for me, even with the possibility of resale.

If it is still available after the paycheck comes next weekend I will probably end up buying it. (damn addictions)

I think I feel no pull because I have over a brick of the IAOCP decks. I still have some books left to sell too. :X

I thank you from the bottom of my heart for that wonderful contribution to the conversation - it was witty, intelligent and insightful...  NOT.  :))

I really hate "I'd get that but I'm broke" posts.  We would all want most decks that pass by, but none of us (to my knowledge, since I don't think there are any one-percenters here) can afford them all.  Add something interesting, like maybe WHY you'd want it, or how hard you've been searching for one of the decks in the bundle.  Without that, the post sounds like a whine and we don't get to know the real Cardist888 any better than we did before (except for the fact that you like whining about cards you can't afford, a state of being most of us experience but generally keep to ourselves unless we have something worth reading to add).

Without that, your post is little more than spam.

Don't worry about that - with only 144 available, I doubt it would last that long.  :))  I'm surprised they're still available now.  Maybe the whole Variety Box idea is a little played out.

Um, you and nearly everyone else who bought the book with the deck...  :))  Those books just don't move much without the deck to go with them.  Out of curiosity, what would you sell one for now?  I'm not all that interested in the deck.

$53...? Is that domestic?

@Don: I don't know, I'd probably sell them for $25-35. I kind of want to exchange one of my IAOCP decks for a v2 Magic Con, as that is the one big deck I'm missing from D&D.

I think Don was referring to the IAOCP book not the deck. I think he was curious if you would part with one of them. At least that is the way I interpreted it.

If I was wrong and Don wanted a deck ignore this next statement.
I would trade one of my Magic Con V2 for one of you IAOCP decks.. It would make my decision not to buy the variety box that much easier.

I'm actually surprised people are buying the Variety Box still. Sure, it's a cool way to get a "deal" on prized decks, but the Variety Boxes honestly haven't been the same. In my opinion, D&D are just putting a few decks together from their closet to get rid of them. For me, the Variety Box started being "played out" after maybe the third version. What is it now, the v7's? The first edition was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. No kidding on that one. After the second version, I was like,"Ahhh....meh." Then, after the later reoccurring versions, I just lost complete interested.

I would trade you my magic con v2 plus a little more for the book and the deck :)

That would be their shipping price on the box to Brazil.

By the way, I'm surprised it didn't sell out yet. Kickstarter much?
