Release Date: October 9th, 2012
The Blue Crown posted this photo today. It has quite a few things that hint to the Altruism deck.

On the center guy's sleeve it says, "Altruism", on the stand, I see the owl face that we saw on the leaked images a while back, AND in the hand of the guy sitting down, he has that key thing that we saw on the leaked images. EDIT: It has also been pointed out that on the women's arm, it says Oct. 9

"The Salem witch trials were a series of hearings and prosecutions of people accused of witchcraft in colonial Massachusetts, between February 1692 and May 1693. During this time period legerdemain technicians were forced into seclusion....

All details of what's to come will be revealed soon...or maybe they already have been. ^

I just noticed there's some writing on the other arm of the "Altruism" guy in the center. It almost connects to the woman's sleeve with the date. Perhaps more hidden information that my aging eyes can't discern?

This print has to be from somewhere, perhaps an encyclopedia article on the Salem Witch Trials. We should compare the original to the altered copy to find if there's anything else that's amiss.

EDIT: I found the original on the Wikipedia article about the trials. Maybe I was wrong about the writing on the second sleeve. Can anyone else spot any differences between the two?

I can't make out what she's pointing at over the doorway, or what's written on the stair.

The stairs seem to say Oct 13 if I am not mistaken. This is a pretty good teaser, including the map they posted which I couldn't make any sense of either

That's excellent, bro! But you missed one minor change - so minor it might even be accidental. Near the right elbow of the seated judge, there's a white spot that appears in the altered image but not in the original. It could mean absolutely nothing.

I think I see the word "altruism" at the beginning of the line above the door. I find it interesting that the woman's raised hand pointing up is literally pointing to that hidden text. But alas, I lack the skills for this.

Maybe someone's got Photoshop and can make some tweaks to make it more visible?

Why would the stairs say Oct. 13 if the release is Oct. 9
I don't think thats what it says.

I don't think thats what it says.

It's possible that it's related to an event other than the deck release. I guess we'll know in about two weeks.

First panel of judge - rough figure of an owl

Judge with the key - symbol of altruism

There are words on the top of the door, stairs and bench but I can't make it out clearly...

I think I saw 'secrets' on the bench but have no idea how it'll link

I think I saw 'Oct 13' on the stairs, don't know what that means either

Can't make out the one on the door sadly

As for the white dot(s) don mentioned, don't think it's suppose to mean anything :\ Could be some photoshop error?

Well, something was leaked - but can you say with complete certainty that what you saw was identical in all ways to what's being released very soon? A lot of things can change in ten months.

There's also a "Snow Owl" version of the deck - only way to get it now is order a brick and get a Snow Owl free.

I've got this amazing new habit-breaker. It's called a "wife and stepson"... Turns out I have nowhere near enough cash or time to spend on cards now!

I pretty much backed most of good looking decks on Kickstarter that deserves my hard earned cash and it starts to burn a hole on my wallet! not good at all.

I need to have a habit-breaker as well!

Hey guys! We're really excited to share the Altruism decks with you all!

I would advise folks to get in early on this deck. There may be certain "time-sensitive" features that you could otherwise miss out on. Also, as you examine and use the deck, keep your eyes peeled. As we've been saying, secrets are everywhere.

You may also not want to share things you find publicly or with friends. You might create competition for yourself....

How time-sensitive are we talking? Like if I was planning on making an order tomorrow or the next day, would I still be eligible?

I sincerely don't know if I like this deck.
It's deceiving publicity to announce a new deck as a limited edition, show some pictures of the box, of the ace of spades and the jokers and that's it. What about the other cards, can't we see them before we buy the deck?
I guess I will wait for more info on this deck.
