alright thank you
People say nothing's impossible, but I do nothing everyday.

Today I found something that reminded me of you. But don't worry I flushed and everything went back to normal.

Do these come with any custom brick boxes?

I have not got any custom brick box in my collections yet :( (Except the Variety box)
No custom brick box for these.

Seeing as how they haven't mentioned custom brick boxes, and how they're really expensive to make and worth mentioning when they're available in order to boost sales, I'd have to say no, they did not make a custom brick box for this deck - you get USPC standard white.  When you look at the rarity of the deck and how few will be available to buy, it's not financially smart to make a custom brick box unless you charge a significant premium for the box, which many people balk at.  People like Dan and Dave do it all the time, but that's because the decks they do it for are printed in the tens of thousands.

The Snow Owls are up for sale - and the price isn't outrageous.  Only $8.95 a pack.  Worth a look, gang.  Uncuts are of the original Altruism deck, 31 sheets only, $31 a piece - again, not a bad price.  Plus they're giving away freebies all day for shippable orders!

i was ready to get a brick of these consider the rarity then i saw the price raise. honestly i like the regular one way more than the snow owl and a 25% increase in price is not outrageous but it is a little too much for me. ill pass those for the project C deck.

My three decks were waiting for me when I got home yseterday, plus I ordered 3 Snow Owls during the Trick or Treat sale.

The first time I looked it said Novemeber 6th, but when I went back this morning, it says November 13th.  Any thoughts?

And is TBC giving any hints about the other secrets?  I think I have found a few, but I have no context, so I don't know if they are clues or just cool design.   And the circles...  what the hell?  No idea that that is about.

You are very lucky to receive yours this week!
I ordered mine on 14th Oct and my order number is 42, but they still have not shipped them out yet! It was due to the late delivery and the naughty Sandy!!! They don't know when the shipment will be made, they said it will depends on when power is restored to their warehouse! That's why they postpone the hunting event!

I also ordered some Snow Owls and my order number jumped to 58x, I placed the order within the first half hour of the launch. Don't know how long I will wait this time!

I spoke with the blue crown today.

The decks arrived a little later than they thought.. then the hurricane hit.
They are based in New York, and everything was shut down.. including postal service.

Orders will be delayed, just be patient.

I also placed an order at the first sale of the Altruism, and at the second sale.
I called them, and they are combining the orders for me.

I love how the price is just under $10! I'd like to see the look on those eBay resellers who were looking to make a quick buck off this deck. Sure the price will rise once the decks sells out, but haha...for now.

The way TBC sales its deck has been causing trouble to the resellers  ::) Alex is smart why let resellers rip people off and keep the profit.

Well he released the black crown deck, kind of public release the gold crown deck and also directly released the snow owl all at a relatively high price. This gives us more chances to get those decks and at affordable price, also more profit for him. This also causes the deflation of the price of rare decks and cut down resellers profit, since now they cant sell promotional items at insane prices. which i for one dont have problem with.

Black Crowns went at somewhere around regular retail when initially offered.  It's why they're generally available for about $20 a pack even to this day despite how swiftly they sold out.

The Altruism "Snow Owl" edition was only one or two dollars more than retail, though the window to get them was very small.  The one I see for sale on eBay has an outrageously high starting bid and buy-it-now, but it hasn't had a single bite.  I can't imagine these going for too much more than the Black Crowns in the aftermarket.  It's also known to be made in smaller numbers, only 2,500 decks.

The Gold Crown deck is the only one that really conforms to your "higher price" theory, but this really hasn't deterred resellers from charging more.  The cheapest buy-it-now as of this moment is $35, while there's one at auction with over two days left that's currently at $12.50 and will likely go closer to the price of the cheap BIN.  The amount made hasn't really been released, but it's considered to be a shorter run than the Black Crowns, a 5,000-deck release.

For the black crown i meant the surprise brick release, the price of them went up from the initial release.
From your post my theory is quit right, the reseller market is quite tamed because of the rerelease and direct release. Black crown were once $50 and i sold my gold crown for $60 when they were going for $80 because i knew ill have more chances to get them.
Snow Owl is not a solid example but my point was that TBC does a good job deliver their rare decks to as much costumers as possible. better than the whole white monarch server crash and

Ah, now I see what you're pointing at - not the stabilized market value, but the initial offering value.  Initial offerings of rare decks are always outrageously inflated and volatile in pricing; you can't really use them for comparison purposes.  At that stage, the market is still trying to determine what the value of that deck will be, so you'll see it offered and sold at prices all over the map.  You have to look at what that same deck is going for perhaps a month or two after release, when it's no longer super-freshly released, but still new enough to have not begun having any rarity creep.

As far as TBC pricing the Black Crowns any higher, by that point it was a sold-out deck, in essence - it was no longer available in singles, so besides getting the brick, the only other way to get them would have been by winning a contest/getting a premium or trading in the open market for it.  They did price it a bit higher, but on a per-deck basis it was still far below market value, just as with the Gold Crown.  That was something like $18, and these days a decent price would be in the ballpark of $40 - and that's the stabilized price.  The Snow Owls are too new to even have a stabilized price yet, but it's certainly not going to be as high as the one eBay listing I saw for it earlier this morning.

I was fortunate enough to work with an Owl yesterday, so I asked the trainer if I could snap a photo of her with one of my Altruism Snow Owl decks and he welcomed the opportunity.  Pretty happy with the result...thought i'd share it with all of you.

Yeah, it's head looks HUGE. I thought it was fake when I just looked at the picture.
