This guy wants $5000 for 10 used decks of VTG Dunes... That is $500 a deck for USED cards...

I try talk to this guy and tell him prices are crazy and explain to him that no one in their right mind will pay this much let along half this much..

A USED DECK in prisitine condition with pristine Tuck sold for $160.00 on ebay last week...

Others have sold even cheaper...

The guy wnats someone to fork out over $1000 on USED cards and will not give a break what so ever..

I offered him $100 a deck and He REFUSED...

Now he want $250 a deck for USED Decks and if you look closely 3 out of 10 Tucks are torn and ripped..

Unless I am crazy also, but a USED deck of Cards that is opened is not worth $200, and even $150 is ALOT OF $$ for an opened decks of cards..

If It were Factory sealed New for $250 - $300 that is Fair..

Dunes aren't as RARE as he may think...   This is just craziness...

$5000 for 10 used decks... Well he has come down now, to still a crazy high #...

3 of the tuckcases have tears in them so I wonder the condition of those decks? He says Mint, but I have my doubts if the Tucks are ripped,,,

No big deal.  He'll just end up with a bunch of unsold decks.  Or he'll accept one of the six offers he's already been given.

He is jsut not reasonable and seems to be greedy.. I dont know maybe he PAID too much for the decks..

Used Dunes in Mint condition will sale for $150 at auction ..

That is what they are worth.. To try to sell for $500 a deck is Crazy...

I made a FAIR offer and I am sure you and others have had also..

But to pay more than $150 a deck, is Crazy.. That is all they are worth and to buy QTY and drop $1000 and pay top dollar on each and every deck is just crazy...

I told him to list him one set at a time and go from there.. It's ashame he won't be reasonable b/c I would love to buy them, but I am not stupid.. I am not going to pay top dollar on 10 decks in QTY.

Well its his deck and its up to him what price he wants for them, the best you can do is make an offer and move on. With the conditions the boxes are in its really no big loss

The boxes of 3 of the tucks are torn... But this gut is trying to say someone bought a set off of him for $599.99...  LOL..

He did another listing for $499.99 which is $250 a used deck, which is crazy ... No one bought that but then all of a sudden someone paid $600 for 2 used decks or paid $300 a deck..

But now he MAGICALLY wants to give me a deal now and has all these other buyers and wants $2000 or $200 a deck for 10 decks which is just INSANE...

This gy would NOT give you a penny discount if he didn't have too..

But now he acts like he is giving me some great deal for $2000 or $200 a deck and he says look see I sold a set for $600 today..

Chances are he bought the SET himself or had a schill buy it... He is prob telling other ppl the same thing.. Trying to get someone to bite and pay $200 a deck...

If someone is dumb enough to bite and pay that much they DESERVE to get ripped off..

IMHO USED DUNES cards with the ripped Tuckcases on 3 of the decks are worth approx $150-$160 a deck and then the other 3 decks $20 - $30 cheaper... I would drop $1000 or $100 a deck on the cards but he wants double that...

Not going to happen from me... maybe some will pay it, who knows, but $200 a deck for Used cards is not worth it to me.. He is not leaving anything on the bone for anyone else.. Its Crazy..

Buyer Beware, after trying to get a deal with this guy there is no way on Gods green Earth he is going to give anyone a discount, if was TRULY able to get $600 for 2 decks..

All the decks would be sold for $300... not a penny less..

So he simply uses a schill to make a buy, pay the fees, then tells ppl like me and you who made offers, hey I am getting $300 a deck, you can too also.. I'll give you a deal for $2000.. at $200 a deck...

So BUYER BEWARE, this guy is DEF out to get every penny he can..

I am fine with making a bunck but to try to manipulate ppl and the market by what he is doing is just wrong..

No 1 in their right mind is going to pay $300 for a USED Deck of Dunes, but if someone is dumb enough to pay, then they deserve each other..

I wish I could have got the for $100 a deck, but simply not going to happen.. They will pop up again soon

It's a "caveat emptor" world on eBay, despite the wonderful guarantees they now offer.

Let's just hope that the guy's being an idiot and that no one in their right mind thinks these decks are worth what he's asking for them, or even close to it.

Hey who knows, someone maybe spent $300 a deck for UsEd decks..

I think it is most likely a schill and the reason I say that Is b/c I tried buying these cards at $100 a deck and he WOULD not budge and wanted $2500 for 10 decks..

So he sales a set for $300 each and then I get a message saying he will give me a great deal at $200 a deck...

He says see the lsiting completed I sold a set for $300 each so you are getn a great deal..

But it dont add up b/c this guy would not give you a penny break !!

Anyways I am done tlking aobut it.. if someone wants to pay that much and they get rippe doff by the guy , that is their busienss...

The cards are nice, but they are still used and at max I would value them at $150-$175 a deck USE din MINT condition..

$300 is insane..  .

In the end, he had a few offers but it doesn't appear that his decks sold.  What a pity.
