FYI Peuan managed to fix the problem. After spending three hours with HM tech support yesterday all they did was tell me the wrong thing is causing the problem.

Well I figured that realoading the pages 5-6 times each would hopefully end up giving me access to the threads I wished to view. Glad it's now resolved.
