hmmm for the key chain, and wristband if I choose the cheapest shipping its under $30. I might get them. I am debating about the key chain though. If I did not get it idk what I would replace it with.
Do you guys even read this? Like I could have the meaning of life here and I doubt you would know it.

Just finished placing my order, and there was a little something missing...

It looks like as part of the redesign, they may have eliminated the free gift tiers!  I intentionally spend just barely over $75 in order to get a free deck of Blue Masters, but nope, it wasn't offered.  There's no link to the list on the home page anymore, either.

I tried checking my account, but the site's still glitchy - got a bunch of HTML gobbledygook.

Hello, Don. I read from Ellusionist FB's page.
The gift tiers are lifted out temporary. They'll be back on Black Friday.
(Probably new gift tiers too)

Thanks, my friend!

Well, now the whole site's down again, replaced with "NEW".  I'd wager that the Fathom pre-release was a "live-fire exercise" of the new site before the Black Friday grand reopening.  Honestly, the old site was overdue for a little remodeling.

What's this "key chain" you are talking about?

  • En ce monde il n'est point de parfaite sagesse...
Just got my fathom decks today. That was when I realized something.. It has a one way back...  :(

Personally, I don't really like one-way backs and some may argue that the one-way back in fathom might not be too notice-able (I certainly did missed it myself when I was buying them :P). Don't get me wrong, the cards themselves look great especially in giant fans and I actually liked what they did for the faces as well.

If this is indeed a four-set deck of the four elements (no speculation intended), then I sure hope the other 3 (if any) would be two-way backs.

There's no need to speculate - it will be a four deck series of the elements, they said as much on the Fathom order page.  As far as two-way backs - did you know that practically all Ellusionist decks come with an extremely well-hidden one-way marking of some kind?  I was kind of stunned to learn it - we have a topic around here somewhere on hidden one-way marks on playing cards.

Ellusionist is a magic store and caters to magicians first and foremost.  Hidden one-way marks are one of the oldest tricks in the magician's arsenal.
