  • You’ll hear interviews with card-playing legends, celebrity Bicycle® fans, and unbelievable magicians.
  • You’ll get insightful articles about every angle of the playing card industry and tradition.
  • Participate in high-stakes contests to win big prizes.

It's cool and all but it does not seem fair to bump up the price for international people! $6 extra just for shipping. it take $2 to ship 1 deck!

Not internationally. One deck, even with the discounts eBay gives on shipping, is still $1.95 via USPS. Generally, for me, a deck is around $3 domestic. Overseas is a whole other story.

I think it's an idea they should have done months if not years ago.  Sounds like they're playing the membership angle to sell cards and accessories.  Let's hope they follow through better than T11 did - I haven't heard a thing in weeks about their tier program for getting gifts and such.

And yes, Josh, it costs money to ship to the other side of the world.  Beyond postage, someone has to be paid to fill out the customs forms and pack those boxes and buy those packing materials.  I understand it's not pleasant, but I keep hearing the same complaint over and over and over from many people overseas.  Do I sympathize?  Yes.  Would I like it, were the shoe on the other foot?  No.  Do I need to hear it nearly every time someone buys something from the US?  No, not really.

Please forgive the rant.

BTW: this is the Discourse's 60,000th post!

Yay on the 60,000 posts. - Also, I don't think many people are posting on the theory11 membership because they simply haven't garnered up the points I get first item. What? Isn't the first item available at 1000 points, which is nearly $100.
So do you get free decks? or just access to buy new decks?

Well, both. After the first payment, you get a welcome deck. Afterwards, you'll be able to get links to purchase other limited edition decks USPCC makes.

It seems like the decks will be sold by USPC only to members.  I'm guessing the quantity sold of each won't be high, either.  Don't count on seeing too many of them in the aftermarket.

The membership is a great idea and one they should have done years ago as Don said. There's a definite turn away from Bicycle decks for many people so this is a nice way to remind people of the history, etc.

They could have done much more with the deck for me though. A more luxury feel to the deck might hard worked better.

So far we've only seen the box!  We don't know what the deck looks like.

I am just saying, all the time now I see this happen, a deck is said to be made, all we see is a box. And immediately people say it will look great or horrible.

Whilst I take your point. Pretty certain the box gives a decent indication of the theme (and back design). I'm not saying in any way that this is the only indicator.

I do take your point and was probably quick to judge - however I'm certainly not a fan of the back design.
