Just something about this video made me want to share it with you guys:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aGawg32VR5s&feature=youtu.be

I think what surprised me most were the young magicians who were outstanding in their five seconds of fame. For all those who were at the lecture, care to share your experience meeting the Bucks and The Blue Crown team? (Ah, I wished I lived in NYC, maybe I'll move there in the future. Tannen's looks like an incredible magic shop.)

P.S. - Say, Don, did you like the pizza? It looked like Hawaiian, right? MMmmm, my favorite!

I found them all kind of annoying, but what can you expect from 12 year-olds? Their sleight of hand was pretty good though.

These kids were very good especially matt f**king amazing. Honestly it wasnt much of a lecture, D&D didnt really teach anything, but the kevin ho part was great(it was basically kevin's lecture and you get to meet D&D imo) but its always fun when there are tony and ricky.
BTW it is me at the end doing the double paintbrush change, anyone care to name it for me  :)(plz dont say monet 2.0 lol)

Tannens look like a super awesome magic shop with lots of cools stuff. I will be sure to head there during my trip to NYC(if there ever is one). Maybe I can even go meet Don or other discourse member around the area. What say you Don?

The Bucks are awesome people from my experience with them during the Singapore lecture. They are not as money grabbing as people here think. They are more than willing to impart any knowledge to anyone that asks. Kudos to Dan, Dave, Ricky and Kevin for bringing the art of magic and flourishing to another level.

They were not annoying!  Alex was encouraging them.  He was very eager to get them on video - he even had to borrow my iPhone for that shot because his was out of memory!

Dude, you were there?  You should have said hello!  I went out to dinner with those guys after the lecture - I even drove Dan and Dave to their hotel afterwards, as well as Tony and Ricky.  (Or was it Tony and Kevin?  I think it was Tony and Kevin.  I can't recall - I was tired by then!)  Either way, you probably could have joined us if you'd said hi or something.

Are you going to the TBC workshop at Tannen's next Thursday?  I have my ticket.

Sure, I don't mind meeting strangers I met online, especially if they bring candy...  :))

The Bucks are nice guys, nicer than the reputation I'd heard about them.  I still don't like their in-house decks anymore, but I'd buy from them again, no sweat.

Excuse me for asking, but who's this "Ricky" we speak of. I know I saw him on the video, but is he a mainstream magician?

I though that was you but I wasnt sure lol. I wish I could stay for dinner but I assume they would go to a bar or sth so I left early. Ps last time I tagged long to one of those dinners(thanks to tony) it was quite intimidating since I was sitting next to ppl that inspired a lot of my card magic.
Unfortunately I think I'll pass the lecture next week $50 is too much and it's not like I won't have the chance to meet the blue crown guys in the future.

I heard they would be going over to Australia early next year. Keep a look out for the dates.

They will most probably announce it on their twitter or their facebook. So keep a lookout.
