USPCC, custom courts, no pix of the numbered cards, or even an A or Jokers.
Courts are characters from mythology.
The deck creator says it's his first KS deck.
Super wide margins. It looks like the intent is mirror (two way) but when you look carefully at the courts they actually aren't.  In fact the reverse image on the Q of hearts is accidentally shifted to the left.

Personally, I like the artwork, the concept, and the font.  But it seems a little sloppy right now.  I'm guessing that if it gets funded, USPCC would require the artwork to be cleaned up a lot.

Also seems a bit expensive at $12.  No early bird pricing.

I've been waiting for somebody to make a deck with this theme since I started collecting, but $12 is simply too much for this one.

Thank you so much for mentioning Mount Olympus. Thank you for your concerns I've updated the kickstarter to address them. All artwork is a work in progress and we'll fix those wide borders. Thanks for noticing the font it was a lot of work put into it. Also a joker card is on it's way. :)

I appreciate your stopping by to say hello.

I would also point out that you need MUCH, MUCH more time to make this project - you're still working on the designs and you have a delivery estimate of JULY?  Not feasible.  A fully-finished KS deck project might be able to make that deadline, though even then you'd still be at the scheduling mercy of USPC, which has been known to be a bit more capricious to small-run customs from relative unknowns.  You'll have people howling for their money back if you don't deliver close enough to the delivery estimate.

Also, we have a decent idea of what it costs to produce a deck of cards.  $12 per deck is one helluva markup and could become a stumbling block.  We understand that you're entitled to make something on the deck and to reap the rewards of your art, but that price is really pushing it.

First off, I really like the artwork for the courts. However the borders are far too wide and the indices overlapping the inner borders are making the problem even worse. Also, I realize the Inner borders are supposed to look like tile fresco decoration, But I think it just looks poor in execution, especially the diagonal separations, which are overlapping the side borders on the left, but not on the right.

Based on the quality of the artwork for the actual gods, I would say this has the potential to be an awesome deck. It just needs some additional work at the moment.

Not to mention the price per deck, the shipping cost to international is a total let down. First project I see with such high shipping costs.
Though I like the theme and the few designs you show.

Sirxcalibur canceled his project about an hour ago, with the deadline about two weeks away and only about a grand in funding on a goal of $7,500.  Hopefully he's retooling the project, tweaking the pricing for a second go-around.
