Perhaps because no one requested them before? I think we did have Tendril in the first competition - but I think it was eliminated before making it to the tournament.

Yeah. I was just shotgunning ideas. The recent transducers look strikingly similar to Eric Duan's Puppet & Kite decks, imo.

And I meant the Black Warrior deck.

People will generally suggest decks that they're either familiar with or own.

Red vs. blue Rider Backs... Well, since I'm taking decks without pre-matching them, I could always toss them in, but I'd probably do both colors together, since they're really the same deck...

Blue Blood vs JAQK.

Should be a very interesting match up as they are both heavyweights in terms of customisation and elegance; but have just enough differences for people to prefer one over the other.

The criteria would be a bit different for gaff decks. You don't generally fan them or shuffle them...

Battle of the Discourse Designers. Paul, Randy, Jackson, 4pm, Uusi. I know there are a few more. This would be designers that have a finished card project. Step one could be to vote for the top deck of each designer, Take the winning decks of each for the final battle.

Ultra gaff vs the gaff system.
Or
Carnival deck vs Fast n Genious

Base the battle on the gaffs usage and design rather than how they handle.

Another battle could be medallions vs red monarchs?

Chat with Tom and Lee about doing a few vintage-vs.-modern battles! Try going for some classic modern designs when comparing, so you're comparing apples to apples and not meteorites.

Not sure this is still current, but I recon a battle between WhiteKuckles and Jones Playing Cards would be interesting. I'm barracking for Jones Playing Cards although the Wk's with their 'wisdom' being older might put up a good fight.
