I've been very stand offish about posting anything here about the Loop Cuts deck in progress with so much still in development but we have reached a point where I think it is safe to share.  Loop Cuts team has been working on a deck for the past 3-4 months and it has taken many forms in the process of it's creation.  The deck will go to Kickstarter this summer in hopes of reaching the goal to have a 2500 print run.  The deck is at this time known only as Loop Cuts Playing Cards but is still in debate over a Bicycle Brand.  It will sport the standard Bicycle stock with a Magic finish. The Box is still in development along with the jokers.

Cheers

These look really, really hot. Loving the custom pips and layout. I hope you guys do colors other than purple, too.

I'm liking what I see so far as well.  My only issue would be about how common it's become for a deck to do a "three-color" scheme for the courts - white, black/greyscale, and "pick-a-popular-color".  Plus I like purple as much as the next person, but it's also getting a little too common in custom decks from designers big and small.

The actual design is splendid and I could see this deck being a big hit.  As Alex suggested, look into making a poker pair, at least two different colors of the back to offer.

You are correct.  We have been experimenting with different fonts and your seeing the mix of it all.

I will definately back these. I love purple. I'd prefer green though. Is there any chance it will be made in green? I also love the ace of clubs.it seems to fit more than the other 3. And it kind of reminds me of the black artifice ace of clubs.

It would be a more consistent design if the top "leaf" of the club was filled in solid and the two sides leaves formed the infinity symbol.  And there would be less risk of a cease-and-desist, too!  Too much prior art on the infinity symbol for anyone to claim it.

No TM on bonaroo, but I agree, to be consistent the top loop on the club would look better filled in.  I don't care, I'm getting one of these anyway!  And I hate purple!  Now if you did mustard, I'd get two decks. :P

Thanks for all the feed back.  It's always helps to get a little insight from others to see things differently.  I have some good news.  We will be submitting the art work to the USPCC Monday morning!

Cheers
