My name is Bill the creator of Voyager Bicycle deck,  I don,t have any room to criticize someone’s work, so I wont. I do however like the contrast of the new tuck case.
I am a Graphic Designer and Photographer, I do a lot of print adds for some small non profit organizations, around my area (rack cards, brochure , flyers and t-shirts). I must say the playing card collectors, are some of the toughest crowd there is.

I'm kind of curious why you changed the back to an obvious one-way pattern.  Poker players stay away from them.  As a magician, the only one-way back designs I use are the ones that are subtly marked and appear two-way.

As Don points out on the summary page, this project has been closed and relaunched.  Here's the new URL:

http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/davidsitto/diamond-cut-playing-cards/

The deck is now priced at $11.  No early birds ... it's just $11.
International shipping is $13 for one deck, $14 for two, $15 for three, $16 for four and $20 for a brick.
The funding goal is $8,500 now, down from $9K.
Still USPCC.
The king is the only court shown for now--it's the same as what MMG posted above.
The tuck box isn't showing yet--just the king and the new headline page.

Well it appears that this project has been pulled again.  I believe David was feeling pressure from so many to make changes to his deck that he was worried about launching it.   :(

I've spoken to David previously and now I'm concerned about how serious he'll see this project though if he does launch it again.  It's one thing to pull a project that has gone off course, you should take time to regroup and relaunch with the desired changes and then stand your ground.  Now my only recommendation is that he take a few months before restarting this so that people will forget about it.  he may even want to rename the deck.

I will be launching a new deck shortly and it will receive good, bad, great and horrible reviews.  If you're going to do this, you gotta get thicker skin and remember the addage... 'you can please some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time but you can't please all of the people all of the time.'  (i used my poetic license to substitute 'fool' with 'please' but it has the same sentiment)

I've also spoken with David and I think he pulled it for all the right reasons.  He has his head in the right place, he just needs to perfect his vision and stand his ground.
