For those that don't know, LGBT = Lesbian, gay, bi, tran.

I can't help but feel this is capitalizing on the civil rights movement as opposed to promoting it.

Let's see... thoughts?

The backs are actually pretty neat. They're unique in the industry. I would do away with the text around the = sign though.

The faces don't have proper color contrasts, and the indice font is way too big. All in all, even though I get the symbolism of the faces, I think it's rather lazily put together.

The symbol cards are pretty nifty though.

LMFAO wow

As crazy as it may sound, I think it has a real shot! I'm curious to see how USPCC legal digests it though.

USPC Legal: probably a thumbs up.  They have ground to stand on for rejecting "demonic" images, but they risk a lot of backlash if they opt for being on the wrong side of history and LGBT rights, especially as more state and local governments are specifically legislating such rights into law.  In New York, one of the mayoral candidates is a lesbian who's already Speaker of the City Council.

I like how the "0" in the "10" has a slash through it - it was a font meant for computer screens, stretched all out of proportion.

Meh.  But I like the idea of the symbol cards.  I didn't realize that there were so many different references.  Unfortunately cards like this really tear at the fabric of my philosophy of life:  'Behind every successful man is his woman.  Behind the fall of a successful man is usually another woman.'  I am now going to need to add a whole bunch of nouns and adverbs to make this statement and I think it may lose something in the translation.

1.  I'm not a fan of the card back or the box, but I get it and it definitely speaks to a target audience
2.  I have no doubt it will get funding at the very least, more for the cause than anything else.  I'm getting a deck I can put on my coffee table so when my brother and his boyfriend come over they can will think that I am 'progressive'.
3.  I do wish they put more work into the aesthetics and less on the symbolism

IMO

Yeah, I was thinking about that one myself.  But he's not the one who falls in the LGBT category - it's his daughter who is B.  Though that photo looks awfully butch...  I have expect to see a face like that at a leather bar in chaps!  But I kid, and I think his idea is great, right down to the different symbols of the community - it's just the art that's somewhat mediocre.
