I want to say hello to everyone. I'm from Virginia and manage 2 websites of drawing tutorials and another one called Alice of Wonderland. I am creating my first custom deck of cards based on the story created by Lewis Carroll of Wonderland. I am making my custom deck a bit steampunk, but keeping it in the traditional style of poker cards as they are also going to be featured in my books.

I'm excited to join this forum and eager to get to know a lot of you!

Here is my design for the Queen of Hearts.

Your design is... wow.

It's just beautiful.

My only suggestion is a practical one. Copy the index formatting of a standard Bicycle deck (smaller "Q" in the distant top left and bottom right corners, small pip underneath it, then a larger pip next to the face of the court card).

This would turn that absolutely sexy design into one people would be eager to use for Poker, magic, etc.

Can't wait to see your back design.

Thanks! I'll go ahead and make that suggestion, it would help in keeping with a traditional deck.

I'll post it here to get some feedback!

Wow, this is great!  I don't see the Steampunk feel to it, but I do like the Aesthetic.  Alice In Wonderland is a popular theme, but creating high end standard cards will make this deck stand out!  Love it.  If you have any questions about deck design, don't be shy to ask.  Many of us have created and sold decks and we've made every possible mistake, so as this is your first deck we might be able to help you get it right the first time.  :)  Cheers!
