I'm happy to announce that after a long adventure and struggle, I will launch "Venexiana" on Kickstarter on Tuesday 16 July at 10:00 ET!

Lotrek, I hope you don't mind, but since you're heading into the Kickstarter phase of your project, I'm going to break off the topic from where you posted recently and make a new topic in the Playing Card Plethora. You're out of the Design/Dev stage now!

Hey, Lotrek - thanks for the info. Bear in mind that while many nations of the world regularly use a 24-hour clock to tell time, the US mostly can't be bothered so mostly just the military use it here. To us, there's a 10:00 AM and a 10:00 PM (where you're from, 22:00). If we see a time with less than thirteen hours in it and no AM/PM indicator, we get confused and ask about morning, evening, etc. Some of us don't even realize that 12:00 AM is midnight (and start of the new day) and 12:00 PM is noon, so even that becomes confusing. So, to an American, 10:00 isn't always morning...

Yea, I'm a dummy. Wasn't thinking about Lotrek not being from around hear. I have a solution though. Make every hour equal 2. Then we would only need 12 hours in a day, and nobody would be confused.

I don't see where it actually says the printer is USPCC, but it does show the Bicycle brand.
He does say, in the Comments, that they'll be "Standard stock and air cushion finish for now. I mean that I may have magic finish or Bee stock as a stretch goal. But it's too early for that. :-)"

Oh, and the project shows a gorgeous wooden box, with spots for two decks. (Personally, I'd love to see a second-color-back deck as a stretch goal, which would make the two-spot wooden box ideal.)
