I was looking through some decks that I have accumulated and I noticed that the bar codes on my new studs are different. I have attached a photo and I am hoping that one of you could let me know the significance behind this difference; that is, if there is any.

Thanks!

Sorry to be completely off topic.

Dude, I saw your username and instantly remembered how you blogged about one of my flourishes a while back: http://wongster88.blogspot.com/2008/11/demonicatest.html

Just wanted to stop by and say hey.

(Sorry for getting off topic).

By "new" you mean "2nd generation," right?  There are no more "new" Studs since Walgreens switched to Play-Rights. :(

It could be as simple as a variance in the product for some reason, making the company want to identify it differently for tracking purposes.  UPC codes are scanned and tracked at every purchase - it's possible they did something slightly different (it could even be as stupidly simple as they opted to charge less or something, or used a slightly different stock), but whatever that difference was, it was enough that the company wanted to track differences in how each "version" sold.

Sorry to be completely off topic.

Last night I stayed up late playing poker with Tarot cards. I got a full house and four people died.
