I'm still dumbfounded that no one before me discovered this release on the Bicycle website!

It's the "808" cards we all know (the Ace of Spades even says "808" on it, as does the milestone on the Joker), but in the "classic" box style we've all come to know and love (and that USPC stopped using about four years ago)...

They aren't on sale yet at shopbicyclecards.com, but keep your eyes peeled...

As much as I like the old look. I also like the new one just as much. Both have design concepts that I like and don't like. My perfect Bicycle 808 tuck box design would be the New standard front, the Old Big Bicycle 808 Font on the sides/top (D&D New Fan Back) and a full back design on the back.

I think T11's are Cincinnati, 808 Rider Backs as per the pictures. Good Find! I recently opened a deck of Cincinnati 808 Rider Backs from an unopened poker set I had purchased at a garage sale.  I had forgotten what they felt like. The stock was softer then the Erlanger Bicycle Stock. Felt more like Aristocrat. The tuck box had that elongated tuck flap.

P.S. Nice find on the Tally Ho Silver (v.16). I will be adding those right next to my Blue/Gold & Red/Gold Cupid Backs .

The new look will still be around.  But many magicians have crafted gaffs that take advantage of certain features of the classic tuck box, so this will make them happy.  To me, it looks nicer, like the old classic Bee and Tally Ho boxes.

You should check with T11 first before ordering - I suspect it's just an old photo.  Any new decks from USPC have a lot of fine print on the bottom next to the barcode - this doesn't have the fine print.

And what are Tally Ho Silver and why is there no topic for it?!?

I have 4 of these decks. I found them at a Giant Grocery store about a mile from my house last month. Why I didn't release this as news is beyond me but it might have something to do with where I found them in the store. I was excited to see the old box though.

Those AREN'T the new 807s.  Those are the Classic 808s!  The code on the bottom was used when USPC was transitioning from Cincinnati to Erlanger.  If the box has a black seal, you have a good chance that despite the Cincinnati labeling on the box, the cards may have been made in Erlanger.  The new 807s will probably say they were made in Erlanger, since they haven't been in Cincinnati in nearly four years.

The only way to know for certain is to wait for the 807s to be released - or crack open a pack and look at the AoS code.

From what was explained to me, these were for sale at Target; hence the coding TG... How they ended up at Giant, I do not know...

Others have mentioned finding these decks - they were distributed more widely than just Target.  It might have originally been intended for Target but they couldn't move all the decks.

I wish, both the Target and Wal-mart in my area have the ugly "about us" backs - those tuck boxes are worthless - how am I supposed to hide a card on the outside of the box with that tuck?

Looking sharply at the 807s on bicyclecards.com, I can only see one side of the box, and it reads "Air Cushion Finish" and "Made in U.S.A.".  It has a black seal, but it's hard to say with certainty what changes there are to the tuck, if any - the bottom isn't visible either.  But if they follow the pattern they've been following with their own recent products and not custom releases, the bottom of the new deck will have the fine print on it, while the opposite side will likely list the company's address in Erlanger.  But the fact that they're calling them 807s instead of 808s tells me that perhaps there would be the older box number on the bottom instead of the fine print - but they still would need to put the current city of manufacture on it, since the company doesn't maintain any more operations in Cincinnati, as far as I know.

I wish, both the Target and Wal-mart in my area have the ugly "about us" backs - those tuck boxes are worthless - how am I supposed to hide a card on the outside of the box with that tuck?

And that was why there was such a demand for the older, classic boxes - enough to get USPC to do something about it...  Plus old farts like me remember the old boxes and prefer them to the new ones!

BTW: you could try using a Mandolin Back or Maiden Back box, until you can lay hands on the 807s.  Most people wouldn't look closely enough to be able to tell the difference.
