I received news about this from Bill Kalush after he returned from China on his hunt for high-grade Chinese manufacturers. He informed me that USPC has indeed started incorporating bee holograms into the decks they produce in an effort to reduce counterfeiting. I can't recall if the holograms were in the tuck box finish or in the cellophane wrapper, but they are indeed there. And yes, at one time in history, you could count on the "Connell Bros." sticker being on a genuine Bee deck, as they were distributors for Bee in Hong Kong, but the counterfeiters got wise and imitated the sticker on many of their forgeries.
Check the Ace of Spades out and post the alphanumeric code that appears on the front near the bottom of the card. The hologram feature is fairly recent, and the deck should have a recent code on the Ace of Spades. In addition, they should also list "Erlanger, KY" as the city of manufacture on the box and the guarantee Joker - most of the counterfeits say "Cincinnati, OH," the location that USPC vacated in late 2009.
