Last night I stayed up late playing poker with Tarot cards. I got a full house and four people died.

I like them. Watch out those index numbers dont vanish because of the gradient you using to fill them.

Encarded - Custom Playing Cards

Even as digitally printed prototypes, Tendril Ascendant and Nightfall have some serious intensity. When these are printed by USPCC they should both be amazing, and worthy successors to the original. Coming soon to Kickstarter.

Is it just me, or do these look like they are 3D/engraved onto metal. If this is just a printed proto, I can tell that I am going to be blown away by the actual cards. Very, very nice work! Thank you for your effort!

Agreed.  One of the most beatifully vibrant designs I have ever seen.   When and where can I get some?   :)

Thanks guys. It was fun working on adding some "dimensionality" to these. I imagine that the full out USPCC press will result in some really nice pop of both these designs. These two will be a Kickstarter and probably will appear within a few weeks. I'm building the campaign now and adding in all those details.

Come on paul, you should have waited to tell everyone else about this till after it launched. Only telling me so I could get the early birds. I should be free that morning if I don't forget. This is one deck I definataly will be buying.
Do you guys even read this? Like I could have the meaning of life here and I doubt you would know it.

Haha, right? I'm pretty excited about this KS. The timing for me is pretty ouch though. I may re-evaluate some of my current pledges and work from there. That will likely be the case. haha, too much goodness landing at the same time. If it ends in January, everything's golden. Anyway you twist it, MegaTuck, if it's there I'm all over that too haha.

Click the link up there, gorgeous looking decks!  ;D

Dang it, I have a network clock off somewhere, It was already 6K funded when I arrived, 2 minutes early according to network time. Missed a mega tuck by seconds. <sad trumpet>

Oh well, can't win them all! I'm happy to be in for what I have!

Actually I'm somewhat sure the campaign started a bit early... I just barely made it in time to grab the tier I was hoping before it sold out...

Nice, he's going to put mixed and full brick add-ons in there. I can still have my brick(s).

I'm in as soon as i received the email from encarded....and that is super late.  :(

I find it weird that he have rewards structured in a way that no one can have both the mega tuck and the special edition Ascendant tuck, unless they use 2 KS accounts.

I agree I wish he could have combined the two for a few pledges. Having the handmade versions in the handmade megatuck probably isn't something that would work well. A megatuck and then the others for $200 would have been a cool pledge slot. I would have pounced on it like it was a plate of buffalo wings.

If you're in the first X backers you should still get the limited seal, I don't know how he's going to sort through that but odds are good you'll get them if you're in there I'd imagine.

I know a lot more people want things like the MegaTuck or Special Edition. Unfortunately, hand making things is a truly time consuming thing. It's really easy to say "sure, I'll make 100 megatucks" but then you hit the reality of spending hours, and hours, and hours, and hours making them and ensuring they are as perfect as you can. I could just mass produce them, but that would defeat the purpose of offering something unique that no one else could replicate.

So, as with anything, it's a big balancing act. I totally understand if you missed out and are bummed. Trust me, I'm not a heart-breaker by nature, but with Encarded, a real job, 2 kids and a wife I only have so many hours in the day. Lol. :D

FUNDED!

That was quick. I'm curious what stretch goals and add-ons we have coming for this. I have a feeling this is just getting amped up and will double it's funding. :D

I was at work and set my alarm.  I'm a huge fan of Encarded. By the time I went into Kickstarter I was already late...lol.. sort of speak.   I ended up getting one of each for now.  Congrats Paul on another successful campaign.

We haven't seen the tucks for the new decks yet, so I'm hoping for more elaborate tuck boxes!
