Quick question, the $8 dollar pledge is for one deck and so is the $14 dollar pledge, but the 14$ is free shipping. How much does that mean shipping will cost for the $8 one?

I pledged the $25 thing for 1 deck and 1 uncut sheet. Is there any way I can get the uncut sheet signed?

What is the difference between the $8 pledge and the $14 - does one come with shipping, and one doesn't? If you pledge for the $8 pledge, do you get free domestic shipping?

yes the difference is the shipping. When you pay $8 it is just the deck but if you pay $14 I will cover the shipping charges

Uhh Sean, bad news brother.

ALL shipping charges are on the creator. They need to be built into the pledge level already, OR must be specified in the reward. (ie asking international backer to add $5) There is no way to collect more money later.

If I pledged the $8 reward level, you are required to ship it to me, no extra charges. (in USA)

Also, shipping charges for 1 deck in the USA is only $1.88 and International is around $4.33.

double checked shipping on international single deck, it is 4.33 to most countries.

Hmmm, just 3.5$ for shipping a deck international?
But on the black&white actuator's kickstarter, he charged more $6 for international, which actually would be just 3.5 - 1.88 = about 1.7 $ different form USA order.

I mailed my singles in a 5x7 bubble envelope, it weighs 4oz with the deck/tape/stamps. 4oz shipped First Class is $1.88 in the USA (It is considered a 'package' and not a letter.)

1 deck, (4oz) shipped to most non-USA countries is $4.33 in the same bubble mailer.

Other people might be shipping in different methods/speeds which would account for varying shipping costs. Plus all the different add-ons like insurance, tracking (USA ONLY) etc can really balloon a price. Also, I personally charge a premium for filling out those horrible customs forms and the hand cramps that come with them!

OH GAWD the customs forms. I've had it up to here with them just from shipping several overseas orders in the past two weeks. There is never enough room for those crazy long addresses, and you're never sure what to put. Value? How should I know? Why does it matter? If I'm shipping blood diamonds I won't be honest and put down 15 million. And when they open the packages randomly and don't bother repacking them properly - the buyer gets his shipment three months late, damaged, and eager for a refund.

I know it's not the peoples' faults, but I hope international buyers do understand how difficult it is to ship their packages, and that complaining about a shipping fee that is half of what the big places charge you is just rude.

Although I'll never figure out for the life of me how some companies charge $20 per deck for international shipping. That's called stealing your money to buy a new Audi. :-X

Thank you everyone for the positive feedback. This is now the 4th day since launch and funding is now at $4,229, which is 28% of the funding total! I am really striving for the $20,000 tier or possibly the $30,000 if it keeps this pace. So lets make this happen!!
