The same 3 courts are used for every suit.

I'm told the King of Hearts is different.  Still, even standard courts are different from suit to suit!  It's actually a step DOWN from standard courts...

What can I say... I like the deck... Although skulls have been done to death, the art is unique and refreshing and the I like the storyboard on the inside of the tuck box... Yes, they have room for improvement, but are still superior than many decks being produced / funded... Well done...

Yep, just the King of Hearts deviates from the "same courts" pattern.

It's a shame, too.  The art is nice, from what I can see - all it needed was more of it.  It gives one the impression that the deck was rushed into production without adequate time to complete all the art.  Perhaps they had to make a decision about doing it right or doing it in time for Halloween sales - but even so, that just means things got rolling on it too late.  To me, using the same art on all the courts from suit to suit feels like it was phoned in.

Sorry for the shitty picture. Just wanted to get it out there for everybody to see what people are complaining about. Overall I like the deck, but definitely feel like they phoned half the deck in. The front and back of the tuck are the same as well.

I bought, and enjoyed, their Steamboats and New Fan Backs, but beyond that, I haven't purchased a D&D deck since Fulton's Chinatown.  Too many of them just felt lacking or lazy.

It's a nice little tuck box for this time of the year, but beyond that I wasn't really "WOWED" by the deck and I have others decks I would rather get.

I wasn't too impressed by the initial deck, and a simple reworking of that is pretty much an easy cop out - surely 'could try harder'?
You don't stop playing because you grow old - you grow old because you stop playing!!!

Okay, why print the inside of the box to the point that you will only ever see all the artwork by ripping it open?
October deck, many have said it looks rushed, considering we are half way through October yes probably.
I do like the art style, it is quirky and fun. Especially on the front of the box. The court cards are okay.
It seems the remainder of the deck is standard, so that is underwhelming.

I'm sure you'll be more underwhelmed when you realize that they appear to have repeated last year's blunder by making repeating courts, the only exception being the king of hearts.  This was not a well-received deck and what I see here adds up to little being changed except the box/back color and a raven seal - or was the raven seal there last year as well?

It's a shame, but I find nearly all their current offerings rather mundane or outright unappealing - and the few exceptions often have a price tag that far outweighs the appeal.

At least we can be sure these decks will make it into the next series of "mystery decks" and "variety box". :P
