You can't use the codes twice on the same account, that's why there's more than one for people who actually login to checkout. To quote CBJ:

So I'm pretty sure I've cheated and used magic10 at E more than once with a signed in acct. I could be mistaken, but I think I've used it twice.  here's how:


If you add items to your cart while logged in and forget about them, after a few days, maybe a week, E will email you reminding you that you forgot to checkout, and urging you to save 10% when you do with the code MAGIC10.  I think this email re-enables you to use it on your acct.  Again, I could be hallucinating but I swear I've used it more than once.

That's entirely possible.  That's possibly why that code was created - to encourage someone to complete a half-finished shopping trip.  The only drawback is that if you're trying to get a special time-limited promo, you may not get the reset in time.

Actually, I suspect he was hoping to collect enough stackable codes to simply get all his merchandise for free...  It's because of that kind of attitude that codes and coupons generally DON'T stack.  Refer to what I wrote in the topic on the Red Artifice Fan, you'll see what I'm talking about.

Haha I've been following your posts on that thread, I know exactly what you mean. All those cards do get pretty expensive, but you get what you pay for. And if you really love your cards, they're definitely worth every penny.

Actually, every time I'm ready to buy with Jason (Mr. 1eyedjack himself), it often turns into a trade instead!  I ordered a day ago ready to pay cash, but instead I'm trading three Red Artifice for two each of the entire Bicycle Vintage series to date and black and green Arrcos.

If you have items he's sold out on, he's sometimes up for making a trade.  You might want to try it sometime, though the whole overseas thing for you might complicate matters there.  Get to know the guy first.

What really sucks is that Dan&Dave's Fancy coupon code and their deck discounts don't stack up. By deck discounts, I mean the discounts you get for buying in bulk. If you try to enter both the bulk discounts and their Fancy discount, they don't work. This really bugs me when trying to save money in this economy. ARG!

You're in a hobby that focuses on the collection of luxury goods - custom-designed decks of playing cards.  If you REALLY wanted to save, you'd find a different hobby.


I'll grant you that no one likes spending more than they have to, but discounts of this nature RARELY stack.  The big sale at E is a major exception, and it's only temporary.
