The Karnival Death Heads: Carnage Edition are in pre-order at Big Blind Media with a release date of Thu 27 Sept 2012.  I'm pulling them from the list, since in this case pre-ordering is the next best thing to buying.  Read more about the cards here.  There's also been BIG changes to BBM's website, and overall it's not an improvement (also mentioned at the linked topic).

EDIT: KDH:CE are already in release in the UK according to dee1orean.  Also, since no one else took initiative, I started a topic on the Sultan Republic deck, which is linked in the NDR chart.

My oversight.  Should have been stickied.  I made a new thread in order to have a simplified URL that didn't include a long-past date in it.

I'm sticking it now.

Added two Kickstarter projects.

Bicycle Call of Cthulhu (not to be confused with MYTHOS: Cthulhu Calls, coming soon from 4PM Designs, makers of Bicycle The Grid) is funded with some time left to jump in on the action and hit overfunding goals.

Animal Rival playing cards are very slow out of the gate, but the sketches are not bad.  Check it out fast; funding ends in less than three weeks and he's FAR from his goal.

EDIT: Adding links to two new topics I made - one on Animal Rival and the other on a deck from CCCC that seemed to fly in under the radar so far...

2ND EDIT: added MSM's 2012 version of Moth/Myth deck, in WHITE!

The KS project for Animal Rivals got scrubbed by the creator.  I suggested he hit the Design/Dev board for some advice and critique.

The KS project for Mythos: Necronomicon is now live.

The Baroque Deck, Black Label Edition, is now in release.  The Black Edition and White Edition of Lance Miller's Bicycle Actuators are in pre-order at Brooke Michael's Poker World, with a ship date of 25 Sept 2012.

I guess not...

Updates: Mythos: Necronomicon is now officially Bicycle Mythos: Necronomicon, being made on Bee card stock, and the Medusa deck now has a KS start date, though it isn't live yet.

Removed: the Carpathia deck is now on sale.

Changed for the better: take a look if you haven't already at the KS projects charts!  (Yes, plural, CHARTS.)

I've re-added "Steampunk" by ReaganM to the Closed KS Projects chart because while he's distributed a small number of them, they are largely defective and all distribution has been halted until the decks are finally reprinted without errors.  I heard it's been through SIX printings so far trying to solve this issue...

To the best of my knowledge, there were printing defects in each and every run of that deck.  Rajas Paranjpe of Brahma Playing Cards mentioned to me not long ago that he's losing a lot of money on this deck.  I feel sorry for him, but I feel more sorry for Reagan.  He distributed decks that had to be recalled, he was having hassles regarding shipping back the defective cards at his expense, just all kinds of issues.  Most of them are mentioned on his Kickstarter project - the link to it is in the NDR chart for Closed Kickstarter Projects.

Added Bohemia to the KS projects, updated KS totals.  Removing Eclipse from Closed KS Projects - BMPokerWorld has them.

A KS Review:

Army Men - slowed, but it's over its goal anyway.

Asylum - on track to exceed its goal before Halloween (the end date).

Black Tie - also on track.

Bohemia - from zero to $8.6K in less than 16 hours!  It's very possible this will hit overfunding before the first twenty-four hours are up, with less than $2.4K to go.  (Self-promotional plug - I received a credit on this project, working as Project Consultant for Uusi Design to help make this a successful run.  Seems to be doing VERY WELL so far, but I honestly felt this design would sell itself it was so beautiful.)

Call of Cthulhu - an unstoppable monster!  Another $4K+ over the weekend puts the record-breaking deck even higher at over $64K - and it doesn't end for ten days!!  They actually went and created a second, unlimited edition of this deck due to insanely high demand.

Darkana Surreal - totally stalled, unlikely to make it at this rate.  It's not a bad deck, but the competition is totally crazed and rabid right now.

Deck of the Extraordinary Voyages - on track to double its goal before closing Friday.

Elements - moving VERY slowly.  Needs a big kick in the ass or it's going to fail.

Key West Casino & Resort - Another slow mover that will fail if something big doesn't happen.

Medusa - moving fast; will likely hit overfunding territory before the weekend.

Mythos: Necronomicon - not as wealthy as its competition, but overfunded and still going strong.

Ritual Elite - moving slowly, but also close to the goal.  With fifteen days to go, if it doesn't lose any more momentum, it will make it.

Vanda - doing well, already funded, ends in six days.

Somehow I managed to overlook Bicycle Surge, the sequel to Bicycle Galvanic.   I'm adding it.

Also new on the list, Bicycle Anne Stokes Dark Hearts and Bicycle Alchemy 1977, version 2 (both are completely new art, worth a look if you got the originals).

Updated the KS projects.  Some statistics...

ENDING THIS WEEK:
Monday: Vanda Crimson (and Gold) Edition - nearly 170% funded
Friday: Bicycle Call of Cthulhu - over 1,000% funded
(For the Western Hemisphere - These will end here SUNDAY and THURSDAY!)

ENDING THE FOLLOWING WEEK:
Monday: Bicycle Army Men - close to 150% funded
Wednesday: Ritual Elite - ALMOST 95% FUNDED
Thursday: Darkana Surreal Poker Cards - LESS THAN 20% FUNDED

Total Known Pending Kickstarter Projects: 4
Total Active Kickstarter Projects: 14
Total Closed Kickstarter Projects: 8
Total Known Upcoming Company Projects: 41

That's a lot of decks...

By the way, just want to let it be known - you CAN leave comments here, particularly if they have to do with deck release information!  If you plan to discuss a single deck or two at length, then go to the appropriate topic (or make one if it doesn't yet exist), but I'm starting to feel a little lonely here!  Nearly 900 views and I'm practically talking to myself!  :))

Y'know what, since I'm here and all, let's review the currently active KS decks!

Bicycle Army Men - Could go over 150% funded by closing on Monday.

Bicycle Asylum - it's slowed down a bit, but it has over three weeks until closing time.  I consider this nearly a done deal with about $1,600 to go and so much time to get it.

Bicycle Black Tie - Hmm...  This is a close-to-call deck.  It's slow on funding, but it is getting funding, and has a bit short of four weeks remaining.  If you like this deck, now's the time to show some support.

Bohemia - Will probably hit 200% funded before the end of this week.  Doesn't close until November.  Going STRONG.

Bicycle Call of Cthulhu - It's a freight train running off the rails.  It ends Friday but has over 1,000% funding!  A record for now - but will it be broken soon?  (Another deck below is blasting ahead at a FASTER rate...)

Bicycle Compass Deck - Kanye Magic introduces this deck project tomorrow.

Darkana Surreal Poker Cards - it's only raised 14% with about a week-and-a-half to go.  I'm sorry for the people pulling for this deck - it's on life support.

Elements Deck - Doing VERY poorly; at it's present rate it might reach the range of 30-50% funded by the time it closes.  Yes, there's time to go yet, but this project needs some kind of major boost to make it.

Bicycle Heraldry Deck - Nearly a third of the way funded with over a month to go.  I think it will make it into the 125-175% range by closing.

Key West Resort & Casino - the design has a strong appeal to dyed-in-the-wool poker players.  However, KS doesn't seem to have many of them.  The design might be too plain for some, but for whatever reason, this project won't get funded unless it manages to accelerate the funds raised and soon.

Medusa - three weeks left and about 35% remaining to reach goal.  I predict it will make it, again into the 125-175% range, maybe even as high as 200%.

Misc. Goods Co. - If BCoC above was a freight train, this looks more like a bullet mag-lev!  In about a week it blew its goal out of the water, reaching about 700% funded.  This number is INSANE.  I've never seen any other deck get so high so quickly.  This might be the first deck to break the $100,000 raised mark!  While some collectors balked at the price, considering that other "art project" decks go for considerably more it's actually very reasonable.  It certainly didn't hurt that it's gaining attention in the design world, where people are used to paying those phenomenally high prices - they see this as a bargain!

Bicycle Mythos: Necronomicon - it just broke 200% - every backer gets stickers!  With roughly four weeks to go, this deck will likely hit a few more overfunding goals before it closes.

Ritual - this is a close one, too close to call.  The funding has slowed a good deal, but it has ten days to go and only about $1,200 to raise.  If you invested and want to see it get made, perhaps now's the time to consider that extra deck you were thinking of getting, or perhaps a card case or an art print...

Vanda Crimson Edition - it ends tomorrow and is running at about 165%.  Last chance to jump on the bandwagon and snag some!

Hey Don I admire what you're doing here keeping track of all these decks would make my head explode.
I had a thought, would it be possible to embed in the discourse homepage a kind of release Calender possibly one that scrolls? so as new deck release dates are known they could be added? then once a deck is released it could be added to a released decks topic so we could check what we missed?
Just an idea!

It is a nice idea.  But I don't write the code that holds this ball of ones and zeroes together into a coherent message board!  I have no power to change the homepage.

The biggest problem that I've found with deck release dates is that on the occasions when we do learn about them, we usually don't hear it until a very short time in advance of the release.  Or we're told by a company that "a new deck is coming" but not which deck it is until it's actually on sale.  It renders release dates a lot tougher to track.  I am looking into ways to incorporate them into the "company projects", though, as a part of the chart that can be edited when we know a deck's release date.

As far as past releases, I manage to get MOST of them posted here.  It wouldn't hurt if others posted here when I haven't heard about it yet, but thus far that hasn't come to pass.  I usually post a handful of updates a week, and I tell what's going on everywhere - what's been released, what Kickstarter projects started, what new decks we've learned about, etc.  Again, though, help from the community would be invaluable to keeping the topic cutting-edge current.

Speaking of updates!

Vanda is now a successfully-finished KS project, and is moving to the Closed chart.

New KS project: "Redesigned Socially Positive Playing Cards".  It just rolls naturally off the tongue, doesn't it?  "Artifice", "Vortex", "Tendril", "White Lions", "Rebels", "NOC", and now, "R.S.P.P.C."...  If you're dyslexic, that might actually read as "R.E.S.P.E.C.T"!

Who remembers "The-Con-Artist.com"?  Y'know, that website-that-never-launched which showed off some utterly godsawful court cards that they were promoting as being so cool and cutting edge, and their "viral" campaign to gain Facebook likes that in the end backfired, leaving them with a current total of 188?  Their FB page recently announced "Bicycle Gunslingers," their latest visual assault.  It's actually the deck they were giving sneak peeks of months ago - such tiny peeks they were utterly meaningless.  Will this ever see the light of day?  I have no idea - the deck box image I saw is both ugly and pixelated to the point that it would look like something out of the original 8-bit Mario Brothers game on a black-and-white TV with the contrast set to practically none...

But since they took the trouble to post it, I will add it to the NDR.  If someone feels like starting a topic on it, let me know - I sure won't be.  The-Con-Artist.com is a name I'd much rather forget, if I could...

Updated the KS decks.

Ritual Playing Cards just reached its goal - congratulations.

Misc. Goods Co. (Pedale Design) is at over $52,000 now and it's been up maybe a week-plus - it's not impossible that it will exceed the Bicycle Call of Cthulhu deck before it closes in a day-and-a-half!  BCoC now is at over $81,000.
