Yes, this is a follow-up of sorts.
The previous project was for the exact same deck - and it was successful. The creator received a lot of requests for decks after the project closed, so it looks like he's giving people a second shot at getting in on this deck before it goes to press, according to the home page.
It's a gorgeous deck from the looks of it. I wanted in first time around, waited, forgot, missed it, and backed for this second go-around moments ago. The first project took in over $40K on an $18K goal, this has a $5K goal and is about a third of the way there.
What I absolutely LOVE about this campaign and the previous one - it's SIMPLE, in capitals. The rewards are decks, decks and decks - that's it. Not even uncut sheets - just decks. I haven't seen a project do this in FOREVER. I'm shocked more people don't do it, because it must MASSIVELY simplify the entire fulfillment process. I'm all for a few extras here and there, but some projects just start looking like a flea market after a while, so I can certainly appreciate the simplicity.
