Hello,
I have been collecting decks now for about 3 months.  I found the forum to check to see what is going on in the market and found I have a lot to learn.  I have not gotten my 1st KickStarter yet and I hope I do not get burned like I have seen on some other campains.

Hey, Jason - welcome aboard the boards!  :))  (Yes, my humor is corny at times...)

I don't think you'll have much trouble with Kickstarter.  The majority of deck projects, by a healthy margin, do deliver without any problems.  Collectors are looking at projects more carefully these days and are loathe to invest in a project that looks more like a problem.  You'll hear about it here, I'm sure.

Welcome Jason! If you feel you need to learn, this is a great place to do so.......I was in your boots a few months ago, I'm no expert, but feel much more educated in my searches and choices.

This is a great community with very helpful members  ;)

If you are anywhere near as eager as Sparkz is/was to learn about playing cards, you'll be up to speed in no time.

Welcome to the forum. Enjoy!
