Has anyone else been playing? I'm at a lovely 1.5 K/D right now but with any luck I'll be able to get it to my Black Ops K/D which was somewhere in the 2's.

I'm not going to pick this up. I played MW a fair bit bit FPS isn't really my thing- I liked that one, though. I hated MW2 with a passion; I thought it was terrible and have never played another one since. IMO, Half-Life 1 was the last great FPS game, probably forever. From what I hear, MW3 isn't much of an update.

You would like Black Ops if you liked the original MW.

MW3 is far better than MW2 but it has its own problems. In my opinion, nothing beats beats how fair Black Ops was. Any multiplayer game will have you screaming "BS! I shouldn't have died!" and in my opinion the quality of a game is rated on that scale. Black Ops rarely had those moments, MW2 had them for most deaths, but MW3 is in between.

Nothing will ever take the throne of Halo 2 for me, though.

I'm thinking about picking it up around Thanksgiving, but right now I'm far to swamped with my course load to focus on a game like that. But it will be nice to play a shooter for the first time in a while.

I had an 84% win rate in SSF4 before Arcade Edition ruined Honda. They're fixing him for the 2012 rebalance, though.

Not sure yet... it hasn't been out for too long so I haunt gotten used to the maps

Not as big of a fan of the maps as in black ops or mw2, but I really like Bakaara and Interchange. Interchange would probably be my favorite.

Fallen is a nice one too. It seems really similar to Favela from MW2, just with minor changes.

Black ops maps were terrible.... scratch that.... Black ops was terrible in general!
MW2 was all around great! The maps were awesome!
MW3 is great too! But the maps aren't as good as MW2

I loathe most of the MW3 maps because they don't promote proper gameplay. Black ops and MW2 promoted aggressive gameplay as well as camping. I could earn a 20 kill streak in both of those games by staying back at spawn and sniping, or running around with an SMG/shotgun.

Now, aside from a few select maps, it's impossible to have passive gameplay and rack up your killstreaks.

Because of this all I do is play Capture the Flag and camp spawns. It's fun.

lol wait if i did a 360 turn to walk away i would just be facing the xbox and walking towards it again
