Purple LTD - with bonus rare deck, White LTD!

Getting tired of this Ellusionist crap. They are outright stupid if they think people are going to continue to buy bricks of their cards every time they release them just to get a free deck!

Haha here's a suggestion, buy the DVD n get the deck. Then sell the DVD n use the cash to buy however many purple ones u want

Lol don't know why YOU complain, you always end up buying it :/ besides, you don't need to buy a brick to get the white&red LTD, you can purchase Peter McKinnon's DVD and get the deck for free. In fact, you can buy 2 DVDs, get 2 decks for free and still pay less than buying a brick

Did you happen to try that? I tried getting 2 or 3 bricks for the hell of it and only 1 free deck showed up. I think E is limited how many free decks we get per order.

For the hell of it? Really? I put a brick and DVD in my cart and two decks showed up.

Yes I did the same thing and got the same result. However if you try to get 2 or 3 bricks only 1 free deck shows up.

I'm personally tired of the whining.  GET OVER IT.  It helps them sell merchandise.  If you don't like that, DON'T BUY INTO IT and don't bother getting the rare deck.  We don't need to hear the belly-aching, seriously, and there's always eBay.

You CAN get more than one white LTD deck.  Just place MORE THAN ONE ORDER.  Tracking you by your account?  No problem - DON'T LOG IN and buy as a guest.

While I'm not a huge fan of the Purple LTD brick promo, I am interested in p:m's new DVD, and you get a White LTD for buying that. Can't be upset about that.

My thoughts exactly on the Madison courts, but at least it does make it very different from the other LTD besides being limited. I thought it was a goof up in their photos, but I think the font confirms it since it's LTD's font over standard font like they used for the other Madison decks.

Considering E's shipping prices, you could just buy the deck for $1,000 and save some dough  .

But I do agree that the coolest colors always being limited gets a bit annoying. I'm not too jazzed on the purple one, but I think the original and white LTDs would make a killer set.

Then again, I guess it does help sell the cards. Just wish there was a way for people to get the new promotional decks without buying a brick of cards.

Seriously, though, they have to put even promo decks on the site for the purposes of tracking the inventory, so they usually either list it as $0 and sold out or a stoo-pd-hi price like $999 or $1,000.  I don't think an attempt to purchase it, even at such an insane price, would succeed - they'd probably cancel at least that portion of the order somewhere in the supply chain before it shipped.

I'm not so sure I like the Madison faces.  They're on the purple and white decks.  There was nothing wrong with the faces the way they looked before.  Meh.  Now they're not even a matched set with the other decks - it just doesn't make sense to me.

On the flip side, they are not marketing to us.  They are marketing to kids, point blank.  They are not worried about us, 18+ aged, because the kids will spend there parents money on impulse.  Ellusionist is simply doing what works for them and catering to the next generation since we've all grown numb to it.

The rule of thumb:
If your conversation is directly about a deck or a deck accessory, it goes in the Plethora.
If it's about a magic deck or anything else tricky or cardistry-y, it goes in the Bonanza (with a few exceptions, mostly involving decks that are "magic" but have collector value, like Madison Dealers, Phoenix Apocalypse or Legends).
If you're looking to buy, trade, sell or eBay anything else card/magic-related, it goes in the STISO.
If it's utterly unrelated but serious, it goes in the Park.
Everything else goes in the LOLAQ.
* Selling things non-card related goes somewhere else on the interwebs, not here.

Now, who besides me doesn't like that they used Madison courts instead of sticking with the ones they'd been using all along?  I'm seriously torn over whether I even want these two decks.
