Um, about the deck being made from pre-existing bikes, I thought that was obvious from the start... Isn't it what they say in the item description to begin with? Didn't you guys read that? 
Reading it again, I see it buried in the "legalese-ish" ad text. That description could be thought of more as descriptive ad text rather than an actual "disclaimer" of some sort though. It reads more like hyperbole.
