speedyy400... Yeah, I know $55 is a lot for a lighter. But it's Zippo!! I added these because the Zippo factory isn't too far from where I live. It's probably an hour and half drive. I tend to make sure all my add-ons are American made (for the most part). I see first hand the effect of countries that don't play fairly.

MagikFingerz... I don't take it peronal. I should have waited to launch. Chance are, I'll need to relaunch anyway. The relaunch will clearly be after Civil is delivered considering Civil is starting to get printed next week. I expect to deliver the first or second week of Jan. My wife and I plan to set the standard on KS. We have principles also. We plan to deliver a good product even if it means digging into our own pockets.

Good to hear, RJ. If you relaunch, I'll be right there to snag an early bird.

Thinking of you Sparkz!

Woah, woah, where did this sneak in from, lol

Just a little info on Zippo. The price tag may seem steep, but Zippo requires a minimum run to produce a custom order, are these a limited run RJ?
A regular one off that you can submit with your own pic so to speak is gonna run you about $35, so I would say if these are a limited run the $55 is fine, if there not RJ you may want to contact Zippo and get a quote on running 100, which is there minimum order now and have them numbered  ;)

You would probably get more takers on the add on for the Zippo as a numbered Limited Edition than an open run.........just my opinion of course.

Sparkz... thanks for the tip about numbering them. I didn't think about that. It would probably increase the collectability of them.

Not a bad concept, but even after looking at it several times it never really made me want to jump on board with the ks campaign.

Update today on a new design

New design for Global Unrest

The re-launch of Global Unrest will soon be upon us. Before launching I wanted to get your opinion about the updated design. The legal department at USPCC has given me the okay to use the likenesses of world leaders during WWII. As shown below, I plan to illustrate these leaders wearing typically military uniforms seen at the time. The cards once layed out correctly will still form a map of the world (notice how the cards below form part of Africa).

Let me know what you think of the changes. Also, if you want to see anything different... let me know.

This is a question more on curiosity than anything else, but why is the eyes of the QoH shut?

She is ashamed! That's why her eyes are closed. She feels very shameful.

Dude, it just looks odd.  Better to show her with eyes open.

Thanks for the advice. Maybe I'll revisit the design.

It's a real improvement.

BTW: are these images drawn or cut-and-paste from photos?  They do look like manipulated photos.

This one is down to the wire with less than 2 days left and it's almost funded!  If you didn't get it, now is your chance.
