I thought I was going crazy when I saw the number card change for the first timeā€¦ Hopefully I'm not. I actually really like the custom courts. I'm interested.

  • Pick a card, any card...no, not THAT card!

I see red flags.

She has a reward tier that offers twenty decks.  That's a KS no-no.

She's offering two different colors of USPC-made print runs, minimum 2,500 per run - with a goal of only $15,000?  If she succeeds by anything other than a wide margin, she's going to lose money on this project.

The art isn't to my taste, but that's just me - I do see how some would appreciate it more than me.

I sent her a message explaining the 10 items vs the 1 brick rule.  Supposedly she will change it.  Check out the comment section and see who is supporting her...

Hmmmm. I do like the the Aces and pip design and how the number cards look. Not feeling the courts, jokers or the color scheme for the back design. Only one opinion of course....I wish them luck!

  • Charm gets you quite far. Guile gets you the rest.
I love this deck and am enjoying watching this project evolve, the addition of the book was a nice touch and adds a lot of depth that some card projects lack without a connection to anything greater; it's nice.

One problem I have is that the card back design conflicts, for me, with the card faces. There is too much contrasts between the simple monochromatic line artwork of the faces with the ornate and vibrant colored Persian patterning of the backs it breaks up the whole design for me with what feels like a lack of consistency.

Despite that though I really like what the designer has put together and am absolutely on-board.
Kickstarter completely revolutionized the way I waste money.

The people who handle playing cards are always in a world of delicate fingertip technology.

That's kind of a big change this far into the campaign, but I guess they realized they had to do something to bump pledges. I'd rather have them in a Bicycle branded box than not at all.

The back is kind of interesting, but more should be done to make the backs distinctive from each other - the biggest noticeable difference is the color of the border, and the background on both is blue.  Perhaps one of them should be red or green or something?
