Are those 3 "learn magic" decks worth it for $20, i don't even know what backs they have. I mean, a gaff deck, a marked deck, and a svengali deck for $20 seems like a pretty good deal?
The "gaff deck" is really a stripper deck.
All the decks are patterned after the Split Spades Lions. Same backs and faces, different extra cards and in some cases, fewer jokers.
The stripper deck is in blue.
The marked deck is in black.
The Svengali deck is in red.
The marked deck uses a "plaintext" marking system - no pattern/system to memorize, just one specific part of the card back to look at and the suit and value are written out plainly. It wouldn't pass heavy scrutiny, but if you whipped it out for a quick trick and put it away, you'd get away with it. Certainly don't use it for poker - you might get away with it if your players were unobservant enough, but I wouldn't count on it. It's a nice marked deck, but not on par with something like GT Speedreaders or the Ultimate Marked Deck.
