Just had a little conversation with Mr Zenneth Kok. He'll be releasing two decks by the end of the month. This deck being one of them.
I like the look of these. He's printing with USPCC. The design is done by Triplus, who are based in USA and China. This is the first deck that they'll be promoting. Will be printed on bee quality stock, finish yet to be decided.

Zenneth does nice work, though I do get a bit of a magicon v2 vibe from that back. Love that box with the simple Bee logo. Lovely.

I thought he was through with the USPC after what happened with the last one?

I like the simplicity of the tuck box a lot, very clean. I do have to agree with Paul on the resemblance to the magicon deck....need to see more.

This project was probably already in the pipeline at the time.  The fact does remain that Bee is an extremely popular deck brand in China and many other parts of Asia.

Hope everything run around you guys well!

Thanks for the head up! A few corrections here:

Dark Diamond is a deck by Triplus, we should be hearing more about this brand/platform when the deck is officially available.

I didn't design this deck, so it's better if we could rename the topic as Dark Diamond deck by Triplus.

My participation is limited to consultation and arrangement of getting them available at Coterie1902 for international release. Triplus will take care of the sales of Dark Diamond deck in mainland China by themselves.

....and it's true that I am very very unlikely to do branded decks with USPCC again...

Those indices have quite an interesting font. I definitely think it's nice, though.

These look really nice.

The back design is beautiful. It does remind me of looking through a "loupe" at a diamond.

The front tuck box text could have been arranged better.
The "BEE" name larger or placed elsewhere other then dead center of the box. It's just throwing me off a bit.

At first I didn't like it b/c the back design seemed too washed out, but upon further inspection the back design has grown on me. I, too, love the chosen font, but I also agree the box could use some improvement. A worthy addition to one's card collection.

They're available for purchase now.  Picked up a pair of the Dark Diamonds and a set of the Question playing cards.  That 4-deck Bundle pack is a nifty deal too, but I already have a few of the fatboyeatallday cards.

The back design reminds me of the Shards playing cards: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/system6magic/shards-playing-cards-by-system-6-and-uspcc?ref=banner

It's also similar to last year's Magic-Con deck.  It's a nice change of pace, I think.

Hey guys,

I have made two videos with Triplus to show some basic applications of the QR card that comes with the Dark Diamond Playing Cards.
It's actually quite fun to play with.

Here's a performance video of one of the easiest magic applications.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a1ZkbARGqhQ&feature=youtu.be

In the explanation video there is more detailed introduction of the system and 1 more application.

Thanks,
Zenneth
