Here we go trying to modernize cards again, how's that last attempt going? Oh yeah the King deck ain't doing very well either. These usually don't work very well and i'm not sure it will get funded.

Uuuuugh.

As said before, there's a stark difference between minimalist and lazy. These are the latter.

I can hardly keep track of all the minimalist KS decks. What's with this need to constantly re-design decks with a "minimalist" spin? Is it just a way for lazy designers to capitalize off modern trends with minimal effort?

I can't remember right now, but is there any copyright placed on using Helvetica? (Not the font, the name).
The copyrights concerning typefaces are pretty vague.

Oh come on...."minimalist deck" again?

What's Next? Arial Deck? Or "White Blank Cards Draw Your Own Freaking Pips & Courts Deck"?

Exactly! And it's because of all these decks that playing cards feel like they have lesser value to collect anymore.

  • Pick a card, any card...no, not THAT card!

Oh, this is EXACTLY what I was looking for in a pack of playing cards - a deadly-dull, one-way back design matched with a face not even a mother could love, complete with impractical indices!  I'll take a gross, please!
[/sarcasm]

Why the hell must so many designers try to "reinvent the wheel" when it comes to deck design when the wheel we already have works just fine, thenkyouverrymush?  This deck is about as interesting as the dust on my television screen...and that's only interesting because I want it REMOVED.

Hey no stealing my idea! lol

Actually design your own deck might actually get funded, lol.
