Vote for Your Next Club 808 Deck

Later this year, Club 808 will produce a deck inspired from the historic decks in our collection. We’ll clean it up, make a few updates, design a tuck, and release it to Club 808.

But you come in long before that. We’re leaving it up to a vote. The back design with the most votes will go to print.

Voting closes on March 20th. We’ll reveal the winning deck with the April 1 content and keep you up-to-date on when it will be available in the Club 808 Shop.

I voted for #1.  Not a big fan of the one-way back on #2, and #3 just seemed to have too much going on for me.

I like three.  It's more unique.  One is a little boring, two has too many bicycle elements in it.  I know, it's a Bicycle deck, but we've seen many similar designs over the years - this one even looks familiar, like it might be in my collection, but it could be just because I saw it in one of the online images of the old Bicycle backs.

Number 1 is kinda boring. Plus, the Fournier 605 pretty much nailed the floral design. It would be a pretty weak release.
Number 2 has a one-way back. Pass.
I love Number 3. It's detailed, interesting, and the border is super cool. It kind of reminds me of the Tally-Ho Fan Back, but I can't say why.

The detailed line work on three reminds of something that M.C. Escher would draw (My favorite artist.) Three is my vote as well.

I also like 3 best. I like 1 but it reminds me of Nautic, which I do like but just seems redundant.

However, I have a question, where is the voting actually taking place? I'm not a member of Club 808 so I don't know if there's some website that's obvious to members and maybe that's why.

Yeah, it's for Club 808 members only.  The login page is http://bicyclecards.com/808 - you can register there as well.  It's pretty cheap at only $18.85/year, there's new articles (usually either print or video) twice a month, contests and exclusive members-only limited-edition decks.  You can find the decks elsewhere, but you'll be paying collector's price rather than retail.  They also have uncut sheets, posters of things like the joker and the Rider Back, a Club 808 flask, etc.
