A part of me is thinking that it'll be a whole deck (56 cards) of just joker.

I just hope that with the mixture of so much stuff, it doesn't end up too incoherent.

I really like the idea of being able to add all these jokers to your collection. I wonder if the backs will be standards or what.

BTW: If someone is interested, and wanted to buy one from the site I would be interested in buying/trading for this deck. Just something for you current club 808 members to keep in mind.

Just FYI - I had noticed that this is not a TRUE Joker deck and was quite disappointing to see that. This does make it playable, but sad. That's pretty obvious if you're not looking at it with such excitement, but what you may have missed and others have pointed out is that there are repeating images. Ugh, I'll still keep my order, but come on!!! Such promise to be their greatest idea ever, but no.

Are you SURE those are repeated images? Sure, it's possible, but from the angle the image was taken, it's also possible that they're variants of the same joker or even different but similar jokers. My point is that from the provided photo it's really impossible to tell without performing a little forensic hocus-pocus on the focus...

...though upon looking closer I do see what appears to be two identical modern Bee jokers...

Actually, I'd be curious of two things:
a) how many jokers has USPC actually produced?
b) of those, how many do they still have images of? and/or own the rights to? I noticed the Bicycle Guardians joker in their email - that's licensed from T11, or did they buy it outright?

Look at the q of clubs, then 2 rows up to q of spade, same. Then try k and j of clubs and up ver to related of spades, also the same. Still a must have, but disappointing.

From what I can tell, the deck has 26 jokers, each repeated twice. You can find a joker's twin on the same value card in the other suit of the same color. That's kind of lame. You can't honestly tell me that USPC doesn't have at least 52 different jokers in their repertoire...

Lazy work should not be rewarded. This is lazy. Someone's squeezing the beans too hard when they count them.

If this was truly a jokers only deck I definitely would have jumped on an uncut, because that would look great framed. How it is now definitely won't look as good. I will get a few of the decks once they come out though.

It's still "truly a jokers only deck", but it's not truly a "unique jokers only deck"... Yeah, I get what you're saying, but I'm wondering if I'll get any.

By jokers only, I meant they weren't given a suit or values, making it useless to play with, but would make an uncut look better (IMO). I understand why they did it though, they are a playing card company.

I think I would have preferred a "True" Jokers only deck. As backwards as it sounds, making this playable kind of ruined it for me........just my opinion of course

The playability factor would go WAY down if this was genuinely a deck of all jokers, no values and suits. If uncut collectors existed in large numbers, perhaps, but they're a subcategory of a rather small category of their playing card customers.

Somebody at UC said they contacted USPCC and they responded that it is 26 jokers which matches what the images appear to show and your analysis. I'm keeping my order since it is still unique and fairly cheap, but I guess some are cancelling or not jumping in. Considering I joined 808 primarily for this I'm quite annoyed by the misrepresentation. A joker deck, especially an uncut should be all unique and actual jokers (non playable). Seriously, how hard would it have been to do a separate run for the uncuts and a few full joker decks. Then make another version numbered.

I think this is kind of mularky. I mean De'Vo made a deck of cards with completely different backs that made a comic book. Obviously, not everybody will be interested in a deck like that. If this had been a deck of 52 unique jokers that wasn't "playable" people would definitely still buy it for the artistic value. USPCC is starting to disappoint, at least in terms of Club 808. I think this is an excellent opportunity for companies like LPCC and EPCC to try to take away some of the custom printing market from USPCC.

My joker uncut just arrived, here's an image of the full sheet for your inspection. Working today though, so no time for a proper layout and lighting. Should be enough to see what is going on though.

I'm guessing those first two cards were gaffs?

It's a little ironic that the "all-joker" deck doesn't actually have a joker! Three gaffs and a lore card, that's it!
