As always, excellent looking deck from CARC/EPCC. Anything from them, is pretty much guaranteed to be high quality.
A question for the main man, Don B (or anyone else who is in the know): is the stock and finish for this deck exactly the same as the Exquisite's stock and finish?
I buy CARC/EPCC decks purely for their superior handling, and so that's what interests me most... hence why I'm curious about how this deck compares to the Exquisite
They're on par with Exquisites, Legends, etc. - same factory. They use an imported stock for all the EPCC decks - I think it comes from Germany.
I picked up a couple, look pretty sweet.
The same quality you'd expect from their print shop in Taipei.
So this is closer to Global Titans vs Exquisite?
You're mixing up the factories. Exquisite decks, like the Smith No. 3, were made in Taipei, Taiwan, while the Global Titans were made in Shanghai, China. The only other deck I know of from Expert's Shanghai printer is the Nautical deck from HOPC. There are some card pros who prefer the Shanghai factory's output, but practically anyone on this forum can tell you that it's the Taipei factory's decks that are most preferred in general.
