Notice how the face of M.D. Smith on the Ace of Spades fits so perfectly in the VIEWING WINDOW that's cut into the box?  :))

These are look really nice and a nice additional to the Smith series by CARC.

Don, do you happen to know either print run or, more importantly, price? I know the last few decks printed by EPCC have been small so I'm curious to see if things might be different this time around.

Bill Kalush didn't give me the stats when he gave me the deck yesterday, but if I recall correctly, he did say that these were coming out TODAY, so keep your eyes open at conjuringarts.org.

Picked up a few, plus a few others.

Curse you Don- I didn't even know what CARC was until you suggested those 216's   :D (this is the closest one that has a shaking fist  :) )

Edit- Welcome to the Forum Ricky. I didn't get a chance to say Hi in the introduce yourself post.

The same quality you'd expect from their print shop in Taipei.

As always, excellent looking deck from CARC/EPCC. Anything from them, is pretty much guaranteed to be high quality.

A question for the main man, Don B (or anyone else who is in the know): is the stock and finish for this deck exactly the same as the Exquisite's stock and finish?

I buy CARC/EPCC decks purely for their superior handling, and so that's what interests me most... hence why I'm curious about how this deck compares to the Exquisite :)
With this signature I'm following the example set by Fes: There is only ONE letter L in my display name. "Holly" is a female name... and I'm a bearded guy who's into weightlifting. There's nothing feminine about me brother!

So this is closer to Global Titans vs Exquisite?

They're on par with Exquisites, Legends, etc. - same factory.  They use an imported stock for all the EPCC decks - I think it comes from Germany.

You're mixing up the factories.  Exquisite decks, like the Smith No. 3, were made in Taipei, Taiwan, while the Global Titans were made in Shanghai, China.  The only other deck I know of from Expert's Shanghai printer is the Nautical deck from HOPC.  There are some card pros who prefer the Shanghai factory's output, but practically anyone on this forum can tell you that it's the Taipei factory's decks that are most preferred in general.

The Taipei, Taiwan factory is the one that produced the Exquisites, this Smith back, and my upcoming Zenith deck. It is the preferred factory for the high quality handling decks and I think that EPCC will be using it for the vast majority of their projects.
