  • Kickstarter:
The back and number cards are OK enough, but don't like the courts.
This deck has been done better before
Dia de Los Muertos by Edgy Brothers
and
Calaveras by Chris Ovdiyenko
Last night I stayed up late playing poker with Tarot cards. I got a full house and four people died.

The boy's got skills but the courts, the number cards, and the AoS don't blend in. I especially don't like the spade above the skull on the AoS.

Yeah, I agree with you. I really like the back, but it doesn't match the court cards, even though they both stick to the theme.

Very nice art but it seems to have the same problems I got slapped around for with my parrot deck - the art isn't integrated in the deck design, it's just kind of slapped on there.  Which I personally don't mind (obviously!) but that's going to hurt it with everyone else.  And then with the Edgy Brothers deck up at the same time... I don't know if this project is going to make it.

And when I saw the title I was bracing for a Romero style zombie deck. :P
