Yeah, it's going to time out before it sells out.  The design is pretty boring.

I thought for sure D&D would have gotten Jackson to design this years deck. With his appearance on Coffee w/ D&D and all those back designs Jackson has at his disposal, it would have been a No-Brainer.

Why do I get the feeling the person who designed Magic Con 2014 also designed the DeckStarter deck?

"There's a flag on the play for unsportmanlike conduct!!  They're tying him between the goal posts for two penalty shots...  OH, the first was a solid strike to the GROIN!!  THAT's gonna leave a mark, folks!  Now the kicker is lining up for the second shot, and OH - point blank to the HEAD!  It appears he's unconscious!!  Don't think he'll see the end of this game - maybe not even the rest of the season!"

I can't believe they say they were inspired by the Texan, that IS a Texan. Almost seems like they are getting lazier every deck, don't you think? At least no repeating court cards, lol.

So, when's the review coming out?

just say... market so fast http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/151277062412

That man is a fool.  There are "buy it now" offers for half that price below his auction on that page.  At a $50 opening bid, I don't think he'll get any takers, except perhaps for other fools.

That's not a deck.  It's a stack of thin, deep-red transparent plastic slabs in the same approximate dimensions as a poker-sized deck.  But I'm sure you knew that already!  :))

I've found totally clear decks - I think the Blue Crown is selling one as a gimmick for a magic trick by Joshua Jay.  I've even found plastic slabs that are thick, the same thickness as a pack of cards, and cut around the side edges to look more like a pack of cards from a side angle.  But nothing like that.  You'd probably have to make it - it's not that hard and would only need some simple tools.

Watching that, the novelty factor wore off quickly - you can't tell if the "cards" are being handled face up or face down and they all blend into one images of dark red, whereas a pack of cards is more distinctive from card to card and you know when it's face up.  But that's one man's opinion.

Not many people choose to make a straight-up, two-color deck like this, so I couldn't say.  Ask the guy who made the Bicycle Lumberjack deck!
