Chess Cards KS Soon

A buddy of mine is going to be launching these on Kickstarter soon. Not sure what the print run is going to be but it should be fairly limited as he's using AdMagic for printing. At least it isn't another Steampunk/Cthulhu/Minimalist/Zombie deck for the millionth time, it's actually something different! I believe you can even use them to play chess similar to the Domino deck.

I didn't even realize there was a custom chess board and chips available the first time I looked at the project.

Has anybody here ever heard of AdMagic before?

For reference the Foto Grafis project used AdMagic for printing.  Although I don't know if this Chess project plans to use them this time around or not.

My first designed deck will be an ultra limited, $75 deck that's faux aged...just to see if Don's head would explode! :-)

I like these, but the board makes me think of checkers (red/black) instead of chess. I agree, that's a big hill to get up.

I almost get a watch vibe from the face cards. When I first saw them thats what I thought of.
