There's been a lot of minimalistic decks to come out in the past several months, but (shock and surprise) I actually like this one a lot. It has just enough of the traditional in it, and the pencil sketch lines look cool.
There are two possible catches I can see with this design, though.
The first is that there's not a court card to be seen anywhere. Many a minimalist design trips on the court cards. The fact that the design is completed, according to the project home page, has me concerned about why he's not displaying any court cards.
The second is that he's not revealing who's doing the printing, and with a goal as low as his, it's certainly not USPC. Stating that he sourced them to someone he "sourced online" doesn't inspire confidence. From his FB page for the deck:

Synthesis Playing Cards: We have a printing company that we have sourced online who is producing (printing) the decks but no one is branding them, like Bicycle for example.
