I'm pretty sure it was another leak. D&D didn't post it anywhere and its not even on the new releases section of their site.

That'd actually be pretty smart. Make the site ready to go, with a crazy high price, so if anyone hacks the site and finds the links early (as we all know you love to do) they will have to pay extra for cheating.

I agree it would be a smart thing to do....but you can hardly say that guessing a URL or finding a unlinked page on a website is hacking.

I know it's not hacking but I couldn't think of a better term.

I think $20 per deck from a company like Dan and Dave is insulting.

I would also feel the same way if T11, E, or any other major card distributor did this.

I will not be purchasing this deck, or any others from Dan and Dave is they continue down this path.

CBJ

I think the pricing was what it was because the deck is NOT one of their own.  It's just a rare deck they stumbled across.  You wouldn't fault Lee Asher for selling Jerry's Nugget decks for more than he paid, right?  The description said they were out of the personal stock of these two artists and were never intended for general sale, similar to some of the Blaine decks.

Missed it again!! SHOOT! Even though it was a little pricey I would have picked up two. I'm bummed I miss it again. Hopefully I can trade for two sometime in the future. This was by far the most unusual release of the season

I was right. Well lets hope they aren't 20 bucks at the real release so that I can get them.

haha that sucks for the people who bought them today although if they are the same price then it is sweetbecuase they pretty much get a prerelease
People say nothing's impossible, but I do nothing everyday.

Today I found something that reminded me of you. But don't worry I flushed and everything went back to normal.

Dan and Dave are letting this one get a little out of control haha. I'm hoping that when they actually release that they aren't that much. We'll see though. All the stuff going on with deck has my head spinning  ???

That sounds a little bogus, about the "accident."  Remember, their own customer service rep was telling me two Fridays ago that they'd be out last week.  I think they're just drumming up some hype to get people drooling a bit more over them.

For higher or lower price, whoever bought them now, myself included, did indeed get a "pre-release."  Some rumors were circulating that the initial asking price for them was $26.95, and I got two for $19.95 - seemed like a deal to me, despite that they're expensive.  But they're one of the most unique decks out there - I've never seen any deck using QR codes and "spilled pips" in their design.  Spilled pips are usually reserved for gaff cards!

Maybe I'll post some pictures and a brief review when I get them.

Yeah, I bought it because I think that was the main release of the deck.
They told me that it would be an official release last week.
I don't think it's an accident.

However, they will release it again next month, and they don't know the price yet.

Meh. Price is pretty average - $5 a deck

If you don't want to get it, just cancel/retract your bid. It's easy to do.

Each deck was $25 a deck, but with the brick price on that bidding airs out to be $5 a deck.

Just search for it on Google, I've done it a few times - There's no harm, but it does stain your record.

You've been outbid - it's @ $72 with over four days left.

I think some bidders are camping on this one, waiting for a last minute snipe bid.  No way it's going to sell for just $6 a deck.

People are probably camping it out. I have those snipe bids, they always get me at the last minute, whether I'm buying or selling. When i sold something, I list is at like $9.99 for the start, I really want it to sell a lot higher, but the only bids that come in are the snipe bids for only a few cents more. Ugh!

I think it will end up more than $100. But it's still cheap even then.
