If you haven't already read 52 cartes, I also got confirmation by writing to Dan and Dave's customer service department - Tungstenes will be available on their site sometime next week (wait it's after midnight - THIS week).  I wasn't given the exact day, but by Saturday you will have a chance to buy these.

Now I just have to think of what the heck else I'd like to go with them.  D&D have absolutely no shortage of GREAT books.  Best magic library I've seen anywhere online or in person.

(I'm so happy my holiday bonus from work came last week!)

This deck looks great. Anyone know of any sites except D&D selling it? Their shipping price to the UK is just a bit too much for me.

I doubt any have it in yet since I don't think it has even shipped yet. I'm sure in a couple weeks they will though.

I don't like the style, colouring and I don't like obvious 1 way backs.  I'm not saying that it's a bad deck, I'm just saying that I hate it.

You could tell from these photos that it's a one-way back?  You have better eyes than I do...

bmpokerworld is an ass! I am a long time customer of his and have spent hundreds of dollars on his site and now because I cancelled 1 order (which I sort of placed by mistake) and inquired about making a change to another order he is not allowing me to buy anything from him on Ebay and is not responding to my emails. This is no way to treat a good long time customer!!! Stay away from his site and go to the1eyedjack.com or better yet my sponsor pokerstud52 on Ebay!! Sorry from being off topic a bit.

Nonetheless I did get this deck and now it is apparently not on their site anymore, did they run out already?

I have never had a problem with BMpoker.  I highly recommend his site, and Mike always treats me well.
I also use the1eyedjack.  Jason is also great.

How do you mistakenly place an order????

Although BM is a great site/guy, what puzzles me is why his prices are so high scale - if he buys in bulk, shouldn't his prices to relatively low?

BM Poker World has one of the better deck selections out there.  Yes, some of their decks are more expensive than the competition, but some are actually cheaper.  I've done price comparisons between them and the1eyedjack - it varies by deck as to whether one's cheaper or they're both charging the same price.

Why are the deck so costly if they're buying in bulk?  Perhaps it's because the site owners are running a business and not a charity...  It's the cost of the deck, plus the cost of the electricity, the storage space, the computer and Internet services you need to run a business online, and perhaps a bit of profit tossed in.  They're often buying at retail when it comes to rare decks, unless they get a Kickstarter to back or cut a deal with the deck company.  A quality deck in short supply and high demand will always end up costing a bit more - progressively more the more rare and sought-after a deck is.

You always have the freedom of choice to not purchase from them.  If you think these decks can be sold cheaper, then by all means, open up your own shop and see for yourself.  I'd love to buy decks at a cheaper rate...

If it's not over the price, it would be gone before you can even see it on stock.

To get us back on topic...

Does anybody know if they will actually release this deck? I heard they sold some because the link was accidentally leaked and it was on their website for a little while by mistake. I head rumors they would have an official release this week I think?

I'm pretty confused on what's happening with this deck and maybe somebody who knows what's up can help me out.

Thanks!

There’s been some rumors circulating that you might have been planning to release ”Tungstene” playing cards today or at some time in the near future.  Can you confirm this?  Can you give me more information about any possible release of this deck?  Do you have any information you can share about the QR codes visible in the photos I’ve seen of the deck box?

I wanna know in what price.
But I'm upset that they release decks like every 2 weeks.
Why don't they just release all of them at once. I really hate to pay multiple shippings, and I cant' risk decks I want to sold out, waiting for an unknown future deck.

A price would be helpful. Although, I highly doubt I'll be buying from the D&D store. As I've mentioned before, these websites charge way too much for international shipping. It's cheaper to wait for a local UK site to get them in stock, or even an eBay seller sometimes.

I'll have some of D&D's Fulton's available, if any international buyers want to make a deal - I'll post it when I have them.

Yes, a price would be good, but D&D never charge a great deal for their decks - premium prices, not outrageous prices (coughDAVIDBLAINEWHITELIONSREDcough).

It's certainly a unique and really attractive deck (in my opinion). I can't wait to get a couple.

I agree that its unique but that whole QR code thing is not attractive at all in my opinion. I will probably pick 2 up do do a review and to have in my collection but I'm not interested in the deck

I understand; it's a simple matter of preference. I like the QR code design, and you don't. Although I can see where you're coming from. They're not the most aesthetically pleasing design to use for a deck of cards, for sure.
