My question is will they actually sell this deck for cheaper on the Bucks website (like Loldude mentioned)??

I really hope they do!! I'm DYING to get at least two of these. There is something about this deck that really intrigues me, and I think it looks really nice too. If they don't release it again I guess I'll have to turn to ebay or trading...  ::)

I think it will end up more than $100. But it's still cheap even then.
Just checked back on the ebay auction on these and they are up to $127.50!! Which is over ten bucks a deck.

It was sold in D&D for $20 a deck, so no surprise.

I'm done with D&D for now.  A deck a month is too much.  And I STILL haven't received my last order.  Not impressed at all.

AND... I stayed up to 3am my time for the last release, just to have it delayed another 40 minutes... 3:40 in the freakin' morning... ugh

Anyway, Tungstene or new deck.. either way... I pass

With over two and a half days left in that auction, they're now at TWO-HUNDRED FORTY dollars.  That's the twenty bucks a deck mark, and they'll likely go up more.  People are chomping at the bit for this one; makes me wish I'd bought more than just two.

The email from D&D arrived 11pm EST.  Three things:
- They "found" and are now selling some hidden S&M V6 decks in the back of a warehouse (sh'yeah, riiiiiiight...)
- They also "found" the last remaining copies of the "twothousandten" DVD, also for sale
- They created Variety Box the Fifth, whose only distinctive additions are IAOCP and Cincinnati-made Arrco and Stud decks.  The rest are fairly recent releases that anyone around here who wanted them probably already got, and much of which is even still for sale.

They also said newsletter subscribers are getting FIRST CRACK at these items before the gen-pop.

I'm tempted to get the DVD, but not outrageously so.

And no, there were no Tungstene decks in this release.  I'm guessing early next year on those.

UPDATE: when searching on the site, only the twothousandten DVD doesn't turn up.  The V6 S&M is only being sold BY THE BRICK at $129.95.

If you search using "2010",  the DVD comes up.

Both auctions appear to be offered by the same seller - or two different sellers who just happen to be in the same city in Malaysia...

I just checked and found that it was the same auction.
The $72 came to $240 very fast!
I couldn't believe that.

It's the same seller and it's at the same price with 27 people bidding, isn't it?

I guess it is the same.  Didn't realize you could run the same auction in more than one country.

Wow $20 per deck is a lot - considering it's a pre-order. I can't believe people will actually pay that much just for a brick!

Not entirely.  You get bragging rights, you're "first on your block", etc.  Some people go for that sort of thing.  But the fact that it's a pre-release sale and they won't arrive until next month...  I thought Ebay had rules about selling something you didn't actually possess.

Hopefully it isn't too late to post again on this thread, but has anyone heard anything else about this deck? Everyone was talking about how it was going to have another release, but is this still true?

Assuming this info is correct, there's no need to guess - it will come out in January:

i asked about them and

Hello Zagan,
Only a limited amount were put up, accidentally I might add. We will formally release a limited batch next month when we can finalize an agreement with the artists.
 Cheers,Dan

Looks like a confirmation from Dan Buck himself...

So - you got the extra bonus of being first among the first on the block to have the deck.  I paid $20.  Who knows what the real going rate will be?
